What our customers say about their holidays

    • Dr Goodenough - Verified booking

Well equipped and appointed property in great location . Very handy to have car parking. From the car park there is a slightly tricky walk through garden (two medium flights of steps and a slightly uneven path ). Easy walk (hilly but fine ) to Padstow. Very comfortable accomodation although there were a few teething problems: I arrived in the dark due to public transport issues and couldn’t easily find access which I also found tricky to negotiate as not well lit. Key safe hard to read with phone torch. Heating hadn’t been turned up and the welcome refreshments lacked milk. I think this was possibly an oversight ? The dishwasher didn’t work but caretaker was very helpful (Thankyou )! even though he couldn’t fix it. It was a very comfortable property, once warm, in a great location . If possible arrive in daylight as the access steps and garden path can be tricky to negotiate with bags in the dark .

Very central to the town, I liked the touches to the flat which had towels and flannel laid on the bed and in the kitchen was tea and coffee packs with little pots of milk, table in the living room had been laid up. The service we received was very helpful and always ready to help, will be using Cornish Horizons again. Love all the different shops as they are not your commercial ones. Was very good and clean and if weather is good there is a lovely sitting area to look at the view

The Longstore is an excellent property. It's roomy, really nicely furnished and very comfortable. We were there in winter so couldn't make much use of the garden area but the view from garden and lounge over the river is beautiful. The apartment is really well equipped with lovely bathrooms and comfortable beds. Really enjoyed the spacious layout. Situated just 5mins walk from town centre with covered parking this is a fabulous property for a holiday

    • Mrs Dalgity - Verified booking

Loved our 5 day stay in The Long Store. Stunning apartment with a lovely size garden and beautiful views over the water. Fantastic location too as you can just walk to all the bars and restaurants in Padstow. Apartment was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. A few things missing which would have elevated our stay but these can be addressed easily. Highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Padstow.

    • Mrs Charlton - Verified booking

A comformable, well equipped apartment for two, with parking an added bonus. Much closer to Padstow harbour and town than expected, only a short walk and not the steep hill expected when accessed by the front garden. Plenty of places to eat and shops for a bit of retail therapy. Rick Steins fish, and deli worth a visit and fish and chips delicious. Also handy for bike hire along the Camel Trail. Easy access for touring too.
