What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In East Sussex To Rent.
Mr Hunt, London - verified booking
"Both my wife and I, and the friends with us were very impressed by the property. We regularly stay in self-catering accommodation and Forge Cottage certainly ticked all the boxes as far as we are concerned. The kitchen - dining area was spacious and the area of work surface for food preparation generous. The living room area was nicely laid out and the settees comfortable. The audio-vision equipment, i.e. TV, satellite box and dvd player were fine and the broadband pretty fast. Both bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage/hanging space for clothes. The bathroom and en-suite shower room were well up to our expectations. Linen provision was excellent.All-in-all this was one of the very best properties we have stayed in and also very fairly priced. We are looking to return soon."

"Just returned from a very relaxing and luxurious few days at S14047. Apart from the bumpy trek down the approach lane, the cottage location was beautiful with glorious views across woodlands; far from any roads and traffic noise. The cottage was extremely comfortable and equipped above and beyond what we had expected and Zoe was very helpful and chatty. We were met with a bottle of wine and tea and coffee to start our stay in style! We loved the walks literally from the door and especially across countryside to the wonderful Huntsman pub where we had a really tasty pub lunch. We would have no hesitation in returning to S14047."

"This was our third stay at S14047; a perfect location for wildlife watching, walking or just relaxing. Everything in the property is of a high standard and the owners seem to have thought of everything to make any stay there idyllic. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to anyone and will have no hesitation in returning again. Ideally placed for visits to the Ashdown Forest area, the South Downs and High Weald and the coast. Crowborough has everything you need for your holiday and there are superstores only a short distance away. Overall the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed at."

"Excellent standard throughout. Lovely owners very helpful. This cottage is such a surprise when you walk inside! The views of the countryside are spectacular. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. We will be going back! The standard of the accommodation was first rate. Everything you would need for a self catering holiday was provided and much more. I would recommend this cottage to anyone in need of a relaxing nurturing break. The countryside was spectacular, the owners friendly and unobtrusive, we were very pleasantly surprised. July 2009."

"A lovely cottage, well equipped and Toby our dog loved the vast garden and walks through the fields. Well situated to enjoy Ashdown Forests excellent walks, many National Trust properties and the Bluebell steam railway. We experienced deer and foxes in the garden together with many different varieties of birds. Only downside whilst we were there was planes on the flight path to Gatwick and also getting used to the long rough mile long driveway. Otherwise a perfect, tranquil location with far reaching views."
