"We arrived and were pleased BUT parking turned out to be bad. This place is on a estate, and parking is a huge problem, vehicles park on the verges etc. Kids playing ball against nearby garage doors do not add to the peace. Also trains are noisy if you open a door or window. It could have been cleaner in the lounge - dust under t.v. unit and the mirror was very dusty. kitchen window was very smeared when sun on it. Not possible to see t.v. when sun is in the lounge as it is badly positioned. A net curtain would be o.k. but we had to pull the curtains to see t.v The grass in rear garden had not been cut and was above my ankles. The beds we found very hard and duvets far too hot, but I accept that as a matter of taste. Shower worked well but soaked the window sill and glass partition could be longer to keep the area dry. Lighting in kitchen near microwave is very bad. You have your back to the lights, an under cupboard light would work well there. The kitchen bin broke on first use and I felt it was not up to the job. A big shame because Battle and the area is really beautiful."

"S50202 was an excellent location being right on the seafront at St Leonards. The apartment was surprisingly large, very comfortable and very well equipped. Other reviewers have mentioned damp but it certainly wasn't an issue for us. On street car parking is free but it was difficult to find a space. However, this was not a problem as we just decided to walk everywhere or parked in the public car park nearby. Carol Anne was very welcoming and left us a pint of milk so that we could have a cuppa on arrival after a long journey. Carol Anne also put fresh flowers is the rooms. In the summer, and when the scaffolding comes down I'm sure the front courtyard will be a lovely place to sit. One of the main things for us was that it was dog friendly. Some nice restaurants within walking distance."

"Lovely pet friendly cottage in a great location.Situated down a quite unmade road, attached to the owners home, you are left alone but they are there if you need them. There was a towel and treats left for our Jack Russell's arrival. The cottage was very clean with everything we wanted, with the nice addition of milk, tea, coffee, salt and vinegar, which is normally missing from so many other places we have stayed.Close to footpaths and parks for long dog walks.Situated just 5 minutes from the town with is interesting history, windmill, supermarket and plenty of places to eat. We didn't need to use the car during our stay.We rarely visit the same area twice, but if we do, we will definitely go back to S41306, without a doubt."

"We really enjoyed our stay at S13850. The space and the facilities were brilliant and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a very private terrace with lovely views. However, the cottage was dusty and in need of a thorough clean, especially the oven. The bed mattress, linens and bathrooms towels all need replacing. We washed all the towels before we used them and cleaned the cottage more than we would have expected to do. Having said all this, it was on the whole a lovely place to stay, quiet and peaceful with very beautiful surroundings. It was the perfect base for what we planned to do and we hope the owner will find our feedback helpful."

"Absolutely brilliant location, near the Beach and the Town. We took both of our Dogs who were well catered for by Carol-Ann (the Owner). She had left Dog Treats, Towels and Poo Bags available. The House was spotless and the Living Room has 2 massive sofas which are very comfortable. Wifi is readily available. The Bedroom is very spacious too and the Bed is very comfortable. The Kitchen and Bathroom are both well catered for too, with everything you could possibly need for a good holiday.S50202 is indeed a great base for any Holiday and Carol Ann is a lovely person who is really helpful. We would definately reccomend this place and will be going back again."
