What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Totland To Rent.

"Unfortunately when we arrived it was far from clean thick layer of dust everywhere cobwebs at the windows and cleaning material left on lounge table. Have used Sykes meny times so I know this is not how there properties are normally presented. I would still use Sykes cottages. The view was just amazing. In the evening we had Alum Bay and surroundings on our own. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We want to come back one day.Probably the best view on the Island. Would have been nice to have had a toilet roll in each toilet when we arrived, and a slightly better welcome pack on arrival. The sinks in the ensuite are far to small. you could definitely get a larger one in the double bedroom. My husband struggled to shave, and clean our teeth. The key safe needs changing, we struggled to get in or out. It would have been nice to have some garden chairs to sit on at the front, the wonky picnic bench was ok but not comfortable.. directions for using the hob were not to clear, took a while to manage to use."

"The property is unusual ,very comfortable with quality furniture and linen .There is sufficient seating for all guests and more than a plentiful supply of cutlery and cookware and tableware even when the dishwasher is full and in use. Appliances very good quality as well Good wifi , Didn't use TVs so no comment. Garden is in reality not a place to sit out in as it is a front garden only and open to the road (This maybe be by Totland standards might be considered busy but not by the mainland standards no traffic noise at all inside) Probably not a great location for Children due to nature of property itself and limited garden space but perfect for our party of silver surfers . Short walk to beach ,>ten minutes at worst to Yarmouth ferry .Seems well served by buses so if required a taxi from ferry and use of buses could mean leaving the car on the mainland is a practical possibility although on site parking is very good."

"The house was good value and very spacious for the money. Having a utility room was extremely useful especially as my daughter in law likes washing things every day! It was so easy to walk to the beach with our little grandson although the tide was very high all the time while we were there. We chose to drive to Sandown on the hottest day of the year so far and it was like being on the Costa del Sol! Everywhere is so easy to get to on the island and there is an other worldly air about the place so you feel as though you are indeed abroad, generally. Shops locally excellent, the lady in the Costcutter was so helpful. All the pubs we visited were great although a bit disappointed in the service at The New Inn at Shalfleet. I agree with recent Trip Advisor reviewers. Walks and buses good. Ospreys were seen at the Newtown nature reserve and some of us saw red squirrels regularly."
