   "Housekeeping service The property was clean and tidy on arrival. The house keeper responded quickly to our call about the fire /smoke alarms not working properly. She also addressed the issue of the child's high chair, which was not serviceable on arrival. She replaced this very quickly with a new chair. We had the following issues with the property: high chair not suitable for a child fire smoke alarms not working No oven gloves No hand towels provided for individual toilets - we could have brought extra with us if we knew. No toilet rush in upstairs toilet Microwave was very difficult to understand DVDs we would expect a small range of interesting films - sadly none Wifi code - it would be useful to leave some clear instructions on this Tin foil none provided Scissors were found in garden Bed linen was very basic, it could do with an upgrade. We enjoyed our family holiday and the location was great. Found the garden was hard work with small children. Many thanks."

   "The property itself was excellent, but when we arrived we saw that the garden was not enclosed and our dog could've got out onto a road, albeit a quiet one and the garden was shared by another cottage let. This meant our dig had to be staked at all times in the garden. Also a laminated sign that was in the cottage made it clear that, whilst dogs were permitted, they should be on a lead at all times (despite the brochure saying that there was an orchard for the dog to use). This, I felt was not "dog friendly". As it was, the weather was quite poor so we stayed inside most of the time we were at the cottage, otherwise this would have been a massive downer on the trip. Had we known these facts, we would have booked a different place. (Previous property we visited was uber dog friendly) S41823 itself was beautiful, everything as cosy and romantic as advertised, just the dog issue let it down for us."

   "A perfect house for a family reunion with everything geared for adults, children, babies and dogs alike! We were greeted by a huge welcome pack with everything we needed to start our holiday including 2 bottles of wine!!The bedrooms are spacious with large comfy beds and most with en suite bathrooms. The living area is also superb with a large sitting room with comfy sofas and a wood burner plus a library of books and games and a second sitting room which we used as a playroom. The utility area was spacious and ideal for the dog. The tennis court and table tennis table in the unused barn was ideal for letting off excess energy. Jo, the outside caterer, dropped off some magnificent meals and made the whole long weekend a wonderful relaxed holiday.One we hope to repeat!"

   "Generally good and a lovely lady looking after the house - her homegrown watercress was a special treat. I do think the cleaning could have been more thorough - e.g. a lot of dust came out of the pillows when I plumped them and I felt the need to hot wash the towels and re wash the pillow cases before using them as they were a little bit smelly - laundered but not fresh. The cottage was otherwise acceptably. i didn't tell the lady as she was so nice and I didn't want to hurt her feelings. The location and views were amazing, except when the neighbours' children played outside my door - and the only view out and main light into the cottage - leaving me with the choice of my privacy - or natural light. Great parking."
