Set right on the lakeside this wonderfully restored shepherds hut has everything you need for a relaxing luxury break. Arriving at Heron’s Hide you are greeted by a large decked area complete with its own wood-fired hot tub, ready warmed for your arrival. There's also a barbecue, garden furniture and deck chairs beautifully located at the water's edge. Inside, there is a cosy open-plan living space which is home to a delightful super-king size bed with luxury linens, kitchenette and seating area. Through the double sliding doors, you’ll find an inviting free-standing bath with hand-held shower head, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Located in a secluded area, you won't be disturbed by traffic sounds here; no better place to relax and enjoy the birds and the wildlife on your doorstep. If you do venture out, being set on a private estate you can explore the surrounding gently rolling countryside on foot or by bike, with lots of quiet lanes and tracks in the vicinity.

For those looking to explore further afield, the charming market town of Newport is just a short drive away, offering a range of shops, cafes, and historic sites, as well as easy access to other nearby towns and attractions.

Fishing: Fish vary in size. Depending on the weather conditions, they may not be biting, but you are more than welcome to give it a try.

Kayaking: You need to bring your own equipment, as this is not provided. You must have a life jacket and do so at your own risk.
