What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In South Gloucestershire To Rent.

"S24600 was very clean, cosy and comfortable. It’s in beautiful countryside a few miles from town. From all windows of the cottage there are pleasant views; they look out over the garden, woods, lake and fields. We loved watching the ducks and wildlife from the large picture window in the lounge. It was so peaceful, I could happily have stayed for longer. The owners made us feel welcome. They’re helpful but also respect your privacy. The cottage is well equipped, with just about everything you might want for a holiday, and lots more besides. Everything has been well thought out. The kitchen is compact, but well fitted; with good appliances. There’s an extra fridge/freezer in the basement as well. Beds were extremely comfortable. All in all we had a pleasant stay. This delightful cottage is deal for anyone seeking good quality accommodation in a peaceful rural location."

"The two scores of nine rather than all tens reflect only that location and amenities depend upon what you want; they are not ideal if you are seeking a seaside break or need lots of kids themed activities, but great if a short stay with some decent countryside or cultural venues are your thing. An easy stroll across the common starts at the gate while access to main roads is good and makes travel to attractions quite easy. For us the location and amenities were fine and had the additional benefit of good shopping in very easy reach too. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and found the cottage very comfortable and ideal for our particular needs; also very good value at the slightly late time of year when we visited. Our hosts are charming and very friendly folk and very welcoming."

"we had a lovely short stay in S82927 in october. Our hosts were very welcoming and offered us the use of their lovely garden to sit in if we wished. There was wine and chocolate for us on arrival, and some toiletries in the bathroom. The cottage is very cute and quaint with lots of history attached to it. Bed was lovely and comfortable , kitchen is small but fairly well equipped but we didnt intend on doing any cooking ! Huge bonus points are the village shop and the Pub which are literally right across the road . Only slight negatives were the traffic goes right past the door so you do notice that a bit and we did light the log fire but it smoked a bit through the cottage. Other than that it was lovely and a fab base for exploring the area!"

"S82927 is an ideal location for visiting all the area has to offer, Malmesbury, Westonbirt, Slimbridge, and many others. The cottage has a very small kitchen and small bathroom - which is in need of refurbishment. The sitting room is fine for two with a nice open fire. Steep stairs lead to a larger bedroom with open-beamed ceiling, definitely the best room of the cottage. Located on a crossroad, morning and evening traffic can be quite noisy - but we expected that, and crossing to the car-park or the pub needs extra care. The local shop has a few essentials should you be eating at home, though larger supermarkets are not too far away. Overall a nice place to stay, just be aware of it's size, low doorways, steep stairs, and traffic noise."

"Wonderful home from home, well equipped property and the owner had thought of everything down to some milk in the fridge and freshly home baked cake waiting for us on arrival. Great location with a very good fish and chip shop, chinese and Indian restaurant very nearby. The property was spacious and clean and located far enough out of bristol to maintain a quiet village feel whilst close enough to easily visit many wonderful activities and day trip locations. Sykes cottage make for a professional and efficient booking agent keeping me very well informed throughout, I recommend downloading their app too. Great holiday all round, thanks so much."
