Nailsworth, a former mill town in the Stroud Valley, has a Town Crier who announces events and festivals in the area. Everything provided, including washing up liquid, sponge and tea towels, as well as coffee, tea and sugar, that was a lovely surprise, we had taken our own milk though. Kitchen was well equipped, and enjoyed the welcoming biscuits, crisps and cereal. The bed was very comfortable and after very long walks, slept really well. A great location for Gloucester, Cheltenham and the main village we wanted to visit, Castle Coombe. Our 2 dogs enjoyed their stay, and lots of walks in the local area. The Woodchester park was awesome, if a bit muddy, but just what we needed. -- We will definately be back. We met the owners a couple of times -- extremely helpful and very friendly, also the was lovely sitting out side the cottage in the evening and watching the chickens wander about and come to investigate what we were up to - so cute.
