"Even though we knew from the website photos that this cottage looked nice we didn't realise how beautiful it was when we arrived. The location has lovely views across the Conwy Valley to the mountains of Carnedd Llewelyn and beyond. The location is actually very good as you can get to Conway, Llandudno and the north coast easily, Snowdonia is 20 minutes away, Betws-y-Coed 10 minutes, west coast and Anglesea easily achievable within an hour. Beautiful Bodnant Gardens are within a couple of miles and a lovely farm shop & restaurant is not too far from the cottage either. There are some fantastic places to eat within 10 minutes drive radius. Lllanwrst is also a nice town to visit and for walks along the Conwy river. The quality of the cottage is superb with oak flooring in the kitchen, beautiful soft carpet in the living and bed rooms, a fantastic contemporary bathroom with a quality bath and shower, c/w underfloor heating. There's a log stove for those cosy nights in c/w enough logs to get you going for at least a couple of nights and plenty more logs are available from the owners log store, which they'll ask you to pay a small fee based upon an honesty system. We stayed for 4 nights in February and I used another basket that's all.Even without the stove, you won't be cold as there is a modern central heating system that really warms the place up with easy to use controls. The kitchen is equipped with a full height fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer all integrated. I couldn't find anything lacking in the utensils department, and my wife and I do quite a lot of cooking from scratch. The living room has comfortable clean furniture and a modern large format Netflix enabled TV. The bedroom is spacious and has the most comfortable super king size bed I've ever slept in, there's also another large format TV mounted on the wall here too.The cleanliness of this place is outstanding, and you feel like you're the first people in - it just smells so new, and the towels, bed linen, pillows seem like they've been bought new. The general cleanliness of the building, the carpets, bathroom, kitchen is of the highest standard we've ever come across. It gives you the impression that the owners take their business seriously and want people to enjoy their stay. There are 22 acres of land, with ponds and lakes all of which are available for guests use, which you'll find in the information pack along with a comprehensive list of things to do and places to eat.The owners (Andy & Jo) themselves are a lovely couple, they rang us the night before we set off to ensure that we knew where we were going, how to get there, how to contact them if need be and even sent us a WhatsApp pin on a map to tell us exactly where we were going! Andy popped over once we'd settled in just to run us through the basics of the cottage. They seem to know how to treat their guests because they were so unobtrusive, and yet we had the impression they would be so attentive if anything was needed. On a last note, we have been many places in the UK and the world in private s/c accomodation, and while we've (luckily) never had a bad place I'd put this experience in my top 5, and it would be no.1 in the UK.Thanks to Jo and Andy, for being such excellent hosts - you've nailed it!"

"The cottage was poorly lite and poorly heated only two fires and these were mobile heaters once you moved away from them, The cottage was cold the bathroom had a leek the lighting was poor in there and very cold no heating the amergion heater didn't heat the water no matter how long you had it on the bed was lumpy the cottage was advertise with off road parking next to cottage you had to park across the road on scrub land no Netflix's phoned the vendor but this was not fixed in the time I stayed there also supposed to be a pation area and a garden area this was not the case the gate was not able to keep closed had to drag the bench to behind the gate so the dogs didn't get out I really wasnt impressed with my stay we also had trouble finding the cottage I phoned the no the booking sheet and no body phoned me back I had no missed calls thankfully finely found this cottage after over one hours trying to find it I wasn't impressed and will not ever be booking another trip with that cottage"

"We feel that Sea View is being completely mis sold. There was NO dishwasher, No BT Broadband, No Netflix, The outside barbeque was rusted with no inner trays so could not be used, the onsite restaurant and bar was only open on a Friday and Saturday night, out of season there is no where to eat on a Monday, the sea view is there but only if you have binoculars and look past all the other caravans, there were stains on the carpet, soap left in the shower trays, neither shower could be raised and the one in the ensuite didn't stay in the holder and the seat wouldn't stay closed. Private parking ??? if you see a space, you get it, the decking area around is enclosed but not private, everyone can see you. we were extremely disappointed with the whole package and for what we paid, it most certainly wasn't worth it. The pictures used to portray this lodge are obviously from when the place was new, it is very tired looking now and needs attention, also too much personal stuff left in wardrobes."

"A lovely, spacious and very warm modern cottage with a wonderful view over the valley to the Black Mountains. The track up to the site needs careful negotiation and there are some ramshackle farm buildings to the side and rear of the cottage but the area is very quiet and we enjoyed watching the barn owl arriving at and leaving the barn at the back. The kitchen is large and mostly well equipped and organised for recycling but could perhaps use a grater and some new cutlery. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding non-feather. There are plenty of towels and toilet rolls and the shower is a joy. There is a petrol station with shop nearby but we shopped at the Co-op in Llandeilo which is a short drive away. All in all, this is one of the nicest places I have stayed; we had a lovely relaxing time and the owners were delightful. Thank you very much."

"We thoroughly enjoyed a mini break at Sea View for 4 nights during October half term and were lucky to have dry sunny weather the whole time. Sea View is spacious and is well equipped (though the tin opener didn't work very well) and is set on a pleasant grassy site with a small play area which my two young children enjoyed using. There is also a small heated outdoor pool on site though this was not open (as it was late Oct). You can walk to 3 beaches straight from the site which we did. We also drove to Newport (not a very special place, and VERY narrow roads) and did a walk from there up Carn Ingli. The surrounding area is very remote which suited us for a short break. It was a lovely area in which to go walking."
