What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In Wales.

"Ty Gywn is a wonderful spacious cottage located not too far from Menai Bridge. There was five of us holidaying at the cottage and everyone agreed it was a wonderful location. The cottage is located, in what feels like, the middle of nowhere within 10acres of gardens, most of which are accessible to those staying in the cottage. Our dog loved being able to run around without a lead.We found the cottage clean and tidy with plenty of hot water and a porch area to dry/clean off on the way in after experiencing the lovely Welsh weather. My only minor point to raise is that there is a shower in the master bedroom's ensuite, but the main bathroom, which is downstairs, doesn't have a shower. For those that struggle to live without social media, WiFi access was provided but mobile phone access (on EE at least) is patchy in the house. All on all a great holiday location, which we are hoping to go back to."

"Whilst the cottage was small it is adequate for two people. The shower was very poor not much pressure at all. The seating wasn’t very comfortable but the bed was very comfy. The welcome pack was lovely and the log burner and wood supplied would be lovely in the winter. We took a very small dog with us and she struggled with the steps down to the back garden as these were quite big. The cottage is surrounded by other cottages which is very deceiving from the photos on the website. The WiFi was very poor and there was no router in the property. We also noticed there were no central heating controls so assuming during the winter this must be controlled from the owners house which is adjoining."

"Very clean and well equipped property. Dog proof garden much appreciated and direct access from a few yards down the road onto the Beacon. Also useful utility / boot room. The Ancient Briton pub is excellent for both food, service and will accept children (and dogs if you book ahead). The Pentre Stables had excellent hacking straight onto the Brecon Beacons on sensible horses / ponies for all standards (www.pentrestables.co.uk). Henrhyd Falls well worth the visit and climb, and Brecon Market is a little tired but a good excuse to visit the town and there are canal boats to hire and good places to eat. The drive is a lovely sight see in itself from the house to Brecon. "

"I have stayed in 5 self catering properties within 5 miles of this property and this is by far the best. Me, my wife and 7 year old daughter had a wonderful stay in this very comfortable house, the lady who let us in was very nice and helpful and the house was well kept and clean. The two rear bedrooms single and double looked out directly onto the hills with fields full of animals and woods. There were 3 local pubs and a small post office within walking distance. There is a lovely river walk and children's playground just at the bottom of the road and plenty to do and see in the local area, fantastic walks and places to explore nearby. Would love to visit again."

"Very basic accommodation . Just about big enough for two people.Main drawback is the so called shower which was no more than a hand held shower head connected to the bath tap. There was no shower screen or curtain so the bathroom was liable to become soaked. The bath was poorly sealed to the wall leading to water leaking down the wall into the ground floor . There was no hand hold so the whole set up was a safety hazard . The oil fired boiler supplying hot water was vented beneath the kitchen and bedroom windows which gave rise to some mysterious odours when running. That aside, the area is very scenic and the local people were friendly and helpful."
