"<span style="font-family: Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">First impression when arriving at farm is a bit 'rustic'. typical dairy farm yard, buildings and smells. The property was great and the owners very nice.<br /> <br /> Great if staying with children as a viewing gallery to watch the cows being milked. Lovely walks in area.<br /> <br /> Take a torch and a reflective jacket if walking dogs in the evening or dark. Beautiful area. Lots of places to walk. Visit Lake Bala and Vrwyny later in the day or not at weekends, it is very busy then, but well worth going on another day. Newtown is a nice market town, as is Welshpool. Llandiloes is quaint and there is The Minivera Arts Centre hosting quilts which is fastinating. Lovely food at The Cross Keys, about 5 miles north on the A495. A bit of a wait for the food as it is all cooked to order, well well worth the wait.</span><br /> <br /> "

"We were walking the coastal path so it was ideally situated at the beginning of the walk in Amroth. Nice size for two people and a dog. We booked the cottage at fairly short notice for a week to walk some of the Pembrokeshire coastal path - if you want a short walk during your stay, start at Amroth and walk to Saundersfoot or on to Tenby and return on the train to Kilgetty and then a taxi back to the cottage.. Ideally situated for the start of the walk. Within easy access of Amroth - suggest the Amroth Arms if you wish to eat out as they have an excellent choice and friendly staff. Although the property is situated within the owners site, this did not feel intrusive. Very clean and it was ideal for two of us and a dog. Good to find a property that is in excellent condition where they will accept pets. Would recommend Well maintained, very clean, good facilities. "

"This is my 3rd time @ Libby’s Lodge. Fabulous location with plenty of Wildlife, Wonderful walks, close to local amenities, well equipped, spotlessly clean, excellent free WiFi and value for money and very comfortable. Helen the owner gave me a free upgrade to her bigger cottage ( Canalside) opposite Libby’s Lodge again all of the above applied to (Canalside). The hot tub was amazing, as was the conservatory too. Again excellent free WiFi upstairs and downstairs. Thank you Helen, nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, again there was a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge on arrival. I cannot envisage staying anywhere else when visiting Chester, I’m so glad I stumbled across Libby’s Lodge. I will be returning again later this year and for many years to come."

"Good location, 30 seconds from the canal towpath. Pub within a 20 minutes walk, the Aquaduct Inn. Area is beautiful, Chirk is within a mile and a half, it has all the amenities you will need. Llangollen is a 10 minute drive and is very pleasant, go early to ensure a parking space. Re: the Aquaduct Inn; bar staff very friendly, food is fantastic, no frozen ingredients. Personally, it's some of the best pub food I've ever had. Cottage is small, but is excellent, it wants for nothing. Only problem is that the garden is adjacent to the next cottage and not attached to Libbys Lodge."

"unbeatable location, well equipped, considering it lets dogs stay there you would never know it. Although the owner may come over abrupt she is well meaning approachable and happy to solve any problem you may have. For instance we had no wifi for the first 2 days(this was resolved quickly) and the dvd player never worked. For us, the size of the cottage was acceptable but some may say cramped, but it was lovely to come home to in the evenings. Must mention the gang of squirrels which put on a dazzling display for us each morning along with the various birds."
