Around here you’ll also find the Ty Mawr Wybrnant (8 miles), a National Trust-maintained house that’s the birthplace of Bishop William Morgan and surrounded by pretty gardens. From here discover ancient woodlands and far-flung views of Mount Snowdon when following the Ty’n y Coed Uchaf and Cwm Eidda walk. If summiting Snowdon is something that’s on your cards, then jump in the car to reach it within 21 miles.
