"No expense spared renovation of this lovely old cottage. Perfect location as easy walking into town and old harbor. High quality furnishings throughout with lovely decor fresh and modern. Lots of attention to small details like dishwasher tabs, food bags, torches in each room made the stay lovely. We had a party of young and old and used all 3 bedrooms for 6. House wasn't cramped at any time and the bathroom is large and modern. Plus a downstairs WC helped any queue. Back yard with table and chairs for everyone was used alot late into the evening. Towels and linen were clean and the house was spotless. Parking for one car up the side near the backdoor was ample for our 4x4. We also purchased a week carpark Ticket straight from the local council for the second car. This was parked just behind the house on the town walls. Luckily there is a cut though from the carpark almost to the house front door under the town walls. So no problems. Cant recommend this house enough and the owners should be very proud of such a good rental property. We also had a small welsh terrier with us who loved the space inside and the garden. The door to the back utility was a half stable door so let in the light but kept her safe. Fabulous easy clean granite flagstone floor. Snowdonia is so close and we all did the crazy massive Zip wire Velocity 2...Cant wait to visit again in the future. Fantastic Stay .."

"Having scoured the internet to find somewhere to cater for a party of 8 my partner found this place, it ticked all the boxes and was reasonably priced too only costing £624 for a week but £35 of that was a booking fee which we were charged (might be an idea to book direct with the owner) . The kitchen is a good size with a large dining table, its fully loadd with dish washer , washing macine you name it its got it, the front room has 3 sofas which are a little dated along with the TV but this doesn't detract from how nice the place is. larger conservatory which gets lovely and warm in the daytime and opens up onto the garden which is also a good size and has views of fields. There are hens on site which you can get fresh eggs from for a nominal charge of £1 for six, the kids loved getting the eggs in the morning for breakfast, next door the owners have some cattle, mainly sheep and cows but if you ask them you can go onto the yard when they are there and see them. The bedrooms are of a good size with one having en suite , there are 3 toilets including the en suite so fighting for the bathroom wasn't an issue . Ample parking at the property and a well kept cottage."

"This is spacious and well appointed accommodation in a rural setting. Don't be put off by a "Street View" image of what appears to be a small scrapyard at the entrance to the property. This is only a hard working local garage on an adjoining site which caused us no problems. Try not to arrive for the first time in the dark. Access is along a network of narrow lanes which have their own charm, but could cause navigation problems. The accommodation is well equipped and spotlessly clean - a credit to its owners. For dining you have the option of a large dining table in the spacious kitchen, an alternative in a conservatory or outdoor dining at a table in a raised garden area. We were there on a blazing hot week when all doors were kept open, but the owners two collie dogs were amazingly well behaved. Never once did they attempt to enter the house and were lovely with our 11-month-old grandson. The property is a credit to its owners and we would have no hesitation in returning."

"The cottage is very nice. The bedroom are very spacious and the bed were very comfy. The kitchen was a good size. They was quite a karate group of us and we found it difficult to use the oven to cook as it is quite small. (Overwise it was fine just personal preference) the lounge diner was again quite small with a large group. However was comfortable but did not have seat for everyone to face each other. The dining room table was a bit of a squeeze to get everyone round. The view from it was excellent. It is in a great location! There is quite a big co-op about 5 mins walk away. They is a good fiver walk with a small park in the village for little ones. This made it the perfect place to adventure across north Wales. There was a lot to do fairly closs by. There is good sandy beaches about 30 mins drive with lots of other good family days out anywhere from 20-40 min drive away. We highly recommended the mountain zoo and green wood forests park."

"On arrival we noticed a fusty damp smell all around the cottage, but it was really strong in the third bed room, on investigation there was mould behind the bed, the room was not usable and when the grand parents came to visit they had to book into a hotel. On the roof the owner had put some plastic and pallets to fix a leak. The beds were really uncomfortable and the owner had put two thin quilts in each cover so they kept bunching up inside the cover, there for every other day I was redoing the beds. Also the storage heaters had been turned off at the master switch so we had no heating for the first two nights (when we rang the owner he did tell us that he had turned it off and had meant to turn it back on but had forgotten, he did however have two heater brought round so as we were not cold for another night. It was a lovely cottage and location. The owner was very nice, it was a shame that we have had to give a negative review."
