"We had another excellent break here, our 3rd time! We stayed for a week in February. We had a 2 bedroom lodge, with an amazing view across the valley. There are only a handful of lodges on the site and they are well spaced out and private. The site is very peaceful and quiet. There is parking right next to your lodge. It was well furnished with comfortable furniture, beds and a well equipped kitchen. There is a small amount of tea and coffee, a few dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, but no other provisions. So come prepared. It was warm and cosy, the little electric fire was handy for a quick boost. We loved the hot tub, very clean and warm. It was well looked after by our hosts every day. It can be used between 8am and 8pm, which was fine for us as the weather was too cold later in the evening anyway. The sauna was a lovely space to relax in too, very easy to use. I can’t praise Ann and Paul enough, they work very hard at making sure you have a great holiday. They are very welcoming and helpful. The pub in the village does good meals and the fish and chip shop is excellent. With 2 small shops in the village you can get most essentials. The area is beautiful with plenty of stunning walks and wildlife to watch. I would highly recommend this area and this accommodation."

"We had a wonderful stay in Trisant. The cottage was very cosy and homely, but with plenty of space and all the facilities we needed. The only reason I haven't rated full marks for location and local amenities is because it is fairly in the middle of nowhere (in terms of being able to walk to things) but that's what we wanted! So it really does depend on the type of stay you are looking for. Having said that, it is about 20 minutes drive to Aberystwyth and 5 minutes from Devils Bridge. Also the surrounding fields are beautiful and in nice weather would make the perfect setting for a country walk. A few touches by the owners really made us feel welcome - a cake on arrival and teabags and milk waiting for us. We did walk into a couple of the beams but they are so beautiful that the headache was worth it!Overall would highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a quiet, cosy break!"

"I booked the Old Court House as a last minute break for the family, and on arrival we were not dissapointed. The old cells are still in place which the kids found facinating. I advise anyone who is thinking about booking this accommodation to do it, dont mess around, you will not regret it. We ordered our groceries from Tesco and they arrived at the time slot we booked, this saved us loadibg the car with food. Rhayader has many fine eating places and there is a pub opposite which can be loud on a Saturday but all quiet from 12.30am. Aberystwyth is a good 1 hour drive with Cardiff being reached in around 2 hours. We did not park the car as suggested by the owner as the street was not very well lit, we used the street directly opposite without any problem or issue. Book and Enjoy."

"Words cannot describe how perfect "Green Lane" house was for our recent 4 day stay, as a group of 8 under 30's it was proving difficult to find somewhere that would match the criteria we needed- Green Lane ticked every box. The host was fantastic, providing all details of local taxis, pubs and local paintballing details with names for each of the above. The milk in the fridge on arrival for tea and coffee along with chocolates was a lovely touch. I would HIGHLY recommend this house to all.... it looks just as nice as the photos show and we are already discussing going back. Thank you ! x"
