"This tiny wooden "chalet" was six metres long at its widest divided into two main areas. The largest was the lounge, kitchen diner with television & double doors to outside. The slightly smaller area measuring 260 cm square with a further section divided into a shower room with toilet & very small sink. (I measured it all but wont bore you with the details.) We had to move suitcases from the small space around the bed to lounge area, to go to sleep then return the cases in morning to bedroom area to make breakfast. As there is very minimal storage space to use. Due to heavy rain for most of the week that we stayed & my mother's lack of mobility we spent more time in here than was healthy. One of the host's constant daily monitoring from their adjacent home made us leave the blinds down on the double glass doors as the "chalet's" doors opens directly onto their large garden. There was little privacy or space & wooden floors creaked when walked upon. I would not consider this a suitable place for two people & a dog to holiday in anytime maybe one person only, especially when paying customers. Hosts were less than welcoming & mostly indifferent when we spoke to them. The as mentioned on other reviews homemade cakes appeared on Thursday before we left, as a sweetener for a good review. They were left uneaten, train passes every 20 minutes from early in the morning until 10.30pm close to location and rough sparsely tarred road to property with many potholes not great for anyone's car."

"Grange Cottage is a wonderful holiday home. I booked this cottage for a week with my four children and my elderly parents. The size was perfect, in fact on times it was like there was no one home, as the house is so large and spread out, it was easy for everyone to have their own space. The lounge is comfortable and well laid out for a family, the dining room and kitchen were also perfectly sized and equipped. We contacted the owner on the first day to enquire for the hoover as my mother is asthmatic, they responded promptly and called straight round to get the hoover out for us to use for the week, also providing us with extra towels, the washer and dryer were excellent and well used by us. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well laid out. My elderly parents took the top floor and had no issue with the 2 flights of stairs. The attic bedroom is huge! The house is within walking distance of Bonchurch beach, which is a pebble beach and has a lovely frontal walk to Ventnor esplanade. Could not fault the cottage and would love to revisit. The only reason I have not given a 10, is due to a few maintenance issues, such as one bedroom door doesn’t close, bathroom door sticks, also the back door could benefit from a blind or curtain at night otherwise, delightful property and would highly recommend a visit."

"When I was looking for somewhere to have my sixtieth birthday celebration, I came across this house, and from the description seemed perfect, but just too good to be true. But I can now say that not only did it live up to expectations, but amazingly exceeded them. The setting is stunning, in beautiful grounds on the the clifftop, but it is the house itself that is the star. Big light and airy rooms, with wonderful furnishings and fittings and decor, all in keeping with the Art Deco theme, made you feel you had stepped back into a bygone age. It felt a real privilege to be staying there, and trusted with this amazing place. The big dining room was a perfect setting for my birthday dinner, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly want to prepare and serve the meal. The owner was very helpful and responsive, and on his recommendation we had food for the meal supplied by Deli Tramezzini, which was great, and a cake from Wight Vintage, which was also wonderful. So it was very memorable weekend for us all, topped off by the lovely warm and sunny weather the whole time."

"The caretaker and cleaners were excellent and we enjoyed our stay at No. 83.The "cottage" is very well equipped and modernised but the lack of a dining table would put us off staying in this particular unit again. Plenty of electrical outlets but no bed side light! Bring a long USB cable if you want to use a laptop while charging. Wi-Fi is excellent but the location within Gurnard Pines appeared to have no mobile phone reception so if you need a one time code for banking etc. you may have to leave the building and go a little way up the car park. Noise from a nearby air conditioner is a bit of a negative if you like to use the garden table which is in the rear courtyard."

"Comfortable cottage in more rural area of the Isle of Wight, but still close enough to main sites. 30 minute drive to Osborne House and 20 minutes to The Needles car park for example. Large modern Co-op supermarket 20 minutes away in Freshwater. Good walks from the cottage, north into the countryside or south to the coast. We took the ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth, both comparatively small quiet places and had smooth easy journeys. Harry’s Hut had everything we needed for a week’s stay. There is also an air conditioning unit in the lounge, which proved very useful on hot days, and a smart TV with Netflix. Very enjoyable stay."
