"The directions to the flat were geared more towards car users, so on foot we walked much further than necessary and found a much more direct route from the chain ferry the next day. Otherwise, the property was lovely. The bed has a memory foam mattress which makes for a very comfortable night's sleep, and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and very well equipped. The oven didn't seem to work, which was a little disappointing, but the job was fine. All of the doors apart from the bathroom door were incorrectly hung which meant that none of them closed. The balcony could do with new furniture and a bit of a clean. Overall, I'd recommend this property to others as a very good base for exploring the isle. A car would be recommended though. "

"This is a lovely little property: beautifully furnished and decorated; well equipped; and nicely located at the southern tip of the island. The shop is only two minutes walk with a post office and pharmacy only a short walk further. Very sadly the pub in the village has closed, meaning the only one in the area is, for most people, a necessary drive, though it could be walked by those who don't mind a very steep uphill walk back. As far as we knew there was nowhere else to eat out nearby. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the island and its many ancient and historical buildings (to say nothing of the beaches). The property owner is very friendly, helpful, and available."

"Wonderful views over the Solent. The oven/microwave was behind the door from the hall. The oven dishes were disgusting. If people do not want to clean the oven dishes after them then take foil dishes and bin on leaving. The utensils were plastic, probably from Poundland. The bathroom layout made it cramped. No place for toilet roll holder. Why must people leave opened jars and packets? I don't know how hygienic the previous tenants are. Not everyone washes their hands after going to the toilet. Take them home with you. The car park at the back was very tight. One tenant scrapped his car on the tight corner."

"We had a very comfortable stay at this apartment with its great views out over the solent loved watching the ships go by.It has a small kitchen with a small collection of pots and pans and with the exception of the microwave all electrical items worked well. The apartment boastes one of the best wet rooms I've come across very clean and a total absence of any mold etc.My wife loved the bedroom with its 5' bed and fitted memory foam mattress and loads of wardroom space. We would highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Cowes and would definitely consider another stay there in the future."
