What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In Gerrans.

" Parking was a problem at times, with scaffolding, builders vehicles and debris on the footpath where we could exercise our dogs also causing problems. The sitting out area was tiny, with a picnic table that really should be replaced and the smell of oil when you were in that area too much for comfort. There was also no dvd player, hairdryer or bath mat to stand on when you stepped out. Sarah did say to ask if we needed anything, but these items should be there anyway. The access to Pelyn Creek necessitated negotiating a rough track with an electric fence on one side, not ideal for anyone. The driveway should also have been highlighted in the description as this would not be accessible for anyone driving a sports car, for instance. To tell visitors when they make a final payment is too late, it isn't an easy drive down to the cottage. We have visited many cottages over the years, but this does not rate amongst the best when you take the cost into account. Very disappointing. "

"The accommodation was spotless. The location for us was ideal as we wanted to be in a remote and quiet place. It is not suited to anyone without a car nor anyone nervous of driving down narrow lanes. The nearest major town is Truro which is easily accessible across the King Harry Ferry (£8 return). Apart from the local pub in Philleigh there are no other immediately available facilities. There are other facilities in the local towns and villages. The food in the local pub is excellent. If it is a beach holiday you are after there are just a few easily accessible beaches on the Peninsular. There are so many attractions to visit if you like stunning scenery, gardens and stately homes. It helps with car parking if you are a National Trust Member otherwise on any of their sites expect to pay £5."

"There were only 7 of us but we needed to have all of the beds made up so don't understand why this wasn't done. Luckily two of our guests were only staying for the weekend otherwise we would have had to contact the caretaker to sort this issue out. Othewise this is a lovely comfortable house to vacation in, really close to the beach and a very short walk to the town of Portscatho in one direction and a good farm shop in the other. As the beach and what a beach so close. Thoroughly recommend this location and house if you are looking for a fantastic family holiday."

"My husband & I plus our 2 cockers spaniels had a superb 10 days in this quaint cottage. It was our home away from home & had everything we needed to make our stay most enjoyable. Our boys ?? were able to roam outside safely & interact with Sasha, the owners Springer. It was lovely to be able to choose between a bath or shower. My only one problem was the sofa which was quite low & because I have hip & knee replacements this made it quite difficult for me to get up easily. The bed was so so comfortable, wish we could have taken it home with us. Thank you."

"The perfect bolt hole for escaping the rat race! The long barn offers complete tranquility in what can only be described as the most blissful surroundings of the English countryside. It’s location forms the perfect base to explore Cornwall, however words cannot describe the beauty and laid back ambience the Roseland has to offer, not sure you’ll want to leave but instead just explore and experience the natural beauty of Roseland, you won’t want to leave. Also incredibly dog friendly, can’t rate it high enough"
