What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Roshven To Rent.

"This cottage is set in a stunning location and is very convenient for the Severn Valley Railway. You can watch the trains passing on the bridge. At least you could if you could open the blinds. It is generally clean and cosy and the bread and milk awaiting us was a nice touch. However, there are a few problems with it that would make us not want to stay there again. The twin bedroom is far apart from the double in terms of comfort and convenience. Only one pillow on each bed, no towels (we had to search for some), but the worst thing was the terrible smell in the shower room. We had to keep the skylight open all the time we were there and the smell persisted until the day before we left. The shower screen does not fit well and all the drawers stick and are difficult to open and close. The other bedroom is fine, except that it is not possible to stand up in the bath, due to the low ceiling, unless you are very short, making it difficult to get in and out. Downstairs is much nicer though it is difficult to keep the fridge door closed. Overall, this cottage could be lovely but it needs quite a lot of attention. To sum up, we would say it would be fine for a couple, as long as neither are too tall but is not suitable for four adults, unless the problems with the twin room are sorted out and more care taken with its preparation."

"Two main aspects : 1) The owners are very friendly and helpful. 2) The cottage is not suitable for elderly people, and this should be clearly stated in your description , e.g. the stairs are not just steep, but extremely steep. The access from the recommended parking is over grotesquely uneven cobbled area, slippery if wet. At the moment the area around the cottage is a building site, as a barn con version is going on immediately adjacent to the cottage. That mean that instead of rural tranquillity the visitors have the noise of heavy machinery all working day long. Why did you not tell us about this ?"

"S16340 needs a lot of money spent on it we arrived on the 7/9/18 and left on the 8//9/18 and came home it was supposed to be dog friendly but if you are worried about your dog and live stock then don't go there S16340 was surrounded by horses which is not mentioned in the advert for S16340 the enclosed garden was not totally enclosed dogs can get into fields with livestock or round to the owners house. so the only secure area is a small decking area outside S16340. S16340 itself is in need on updating or the furniture changed the bed knob has been glued so many times it would not stick so fell off all the time. the coffee table leg broken. the wardrobe was so rickety we didn't put anything in it the kettle would not work also the sky tv worked when it wanted to. and you have to swap cooker hob knobs for the ring to work. but the owner states it all works fine"

"A wonderful large house. Extremely well-equipped and "homely". Lots and lots of space inside and out, with everything needed for a large family gathering of all ages. Loved having the tennis court, the full-sized table tennis table, the trampoline, the large garden and playground to keep the children fully occupied, and the comfortable house to relax in. There is also a really excellent swimming pool, but that was not open so early in the season when we went. Might be worth taking your own sports equipment if you want some serious play, as some of the provided sports equipment (badminton racquets, goal posts, tennis racquets) understandably beginning to get a little tired. But no problem for us, and we certainly plan to go again. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, and we had a really excellent stay overall. A very happy experience."

"This house is very spacious and very well maintained. We were very comfortable in it, the beds, the showers, and the public room furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner was extremely helpful and looked after our needs when they arose. The owner had gone to the trouble of producing a booklet that contained all the local attractions - properties to visit, canal and other walks, pubs, museums, etc. We only had time to do a couple of these so will have to return to do some of the others, like Ragley Hall. The only downside was not of the owner's making - the postcode led my satnav astray and we had to end up asking the way. If you can use the address of the property rather than its postcode, you will be able to find the property."
