Great Gower location.

Panoramic views of the Loughour Estaury to your right, Cefn Bryn and then Oxwich to your left. Watch the sunset over the Estuary from the front patio. Listen to the peace, cuckoos in the forest and inhale fresh air. Gwyneth is the best host and itâs totally dog friendly. Lots to do nearly by - Rhossili, Three Cliffs, Llanmadoc, Oxwich, Port Eynon and Horton bay, Mumbles, Gelli Hir Woods is a nice quiet walk nearby if you have dogs. Always watch the high tide times if you venture out for a long walk at Three Cliffs or if you want to attempt the causeway on Worms Head. Cottage has everything you will need for your Gower escape. Local shops not too far away. The Ship Inn Port Eynon and the Britannia Pub in Llanmadoc are dog friendly. The King Arthur Hotel do nice food but dog friendly outside only. All in all, Gwyneth is a fabulous host and itâs a lovely quiet location to get away from it all and explore the outstanding beauty of the Gower Peninsula with your four legged friend. Good afternoon, although Darren was helpful on check in, the property maintenance and cleanliness was very disappointing.

The wine fridge was broken, blinds in the dining area were broken, a seat in the dining room had no bolts and not safe, the salad compartment in the fridge was broken. The cleanliness of the property was not very good, toilets in 2 bathrooms were not clean, the oven and fridge were dirty, there was mould on the floor of the shower in the main bathroom en suite, fingerprints on all the doors in the main living and dining area. The hoover was completely blocked and not cleaned out, the tumble dryer is faulty. The hot tub couldn't be used for 24 hours which was one of the main reasons we booked this property so missed a day of use, not enough info regarding the towel situation which were very minimal. The property itself was great, but for the amount of money we spent it was very disappointing to experience these problems and certainly no excuse for the cleanliness. Wasn't up to the standards we expect from similar properties we have rented in the same price bracket.

On entering the property the appearance was appalling,it needed maintainance.I spent Â£831 pounds for a week stay which wasn't worth it. The inside of the property was homely except for the beds which were very uncomfortable and squeaky. The sofa was also a big let down. (tough like board) I booked the home because of the hot tub because I thought it could be of remedy to my body. The area where the tub sits needed proper cleaning as the window and area was all gross from build up moulds.The tub was full of too much chlorine that makes us ill.Only been in hot tub twice. It was pointed out to me that the tub would be half emptied then topped up again with chlorine for next visitors,makes me wonder.The owner was quite nice though. Future reference, I would visit again not at that price and only if owners do a proper entry clean up, fully drained tub and keep the tub area mould free. Good property,quite area and friendly people.

Had a lovely stay here.

Would definitely stay again. Did find random hair around the place, but was no big issue. Bath looked a little unclean so didnât bother using. Hoover needs replacing as the suction doesnât work well at all, Knives arenât sharp and need replacing also, very difficult to cut with, I would perhaps bring my own next time with keeping this in mind. Pans to cook with arenât non stick, they do thankfully clean up easy though. However it was a lovely little break. close to shops and beach. About 20 minutes drive if you want Asda etc or premier shop literally 3 minutes walk just at the bottom of the road, dog friendly area including pubs. Local takeaways are great too if you fancy a one off from cooking. Park just across the road. Honestly besides the few little things that need looking at (donât let that put you off) it is a lovely place and I would definitely book again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
