A combination of gloriously high ceilings, light flooding through huge windows and natural accents of timber and stone give this impeccably decorated holiday destination an ambience of comfort and style. Head to the spectacular kitchen/diner, where you’ll all want to gather while the food’s being prepared, swapping tales at the long table or relaxing in the comfy sofa. In summer you can throw open the patio doors, while in winter there’s the option of a large wood burner. Bifold doors connect this room to the triple-aspect lounge, another spacious room that’s full of light. Three of the five bedrooms are on the ground floor: two super-king-size (one can be twin on request) with en-suites, and a double with a Jack and Jill bathroom. There are two staircases, one of which accesses a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, while the other leads to a king-size room with an en-suite shower and its own mezzanine snug/home office (overlooking the kitchen/diner). The garden includes a patio with a BBQ, a lawn, and an area with a hot tub.

The house just 2.5 miles from Menai Bridge, where there’s a selection of interesting shops and a variety of pubs and restaurants. In Beaumaris, 5.5 miles, you’ll find not only the famous castle but also a fascinating town with a mix of medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. For a fabulous day out head to Llanddwyn Beach, 13 miles, or a family attraction such as Pilis Palas Nature World, 1.5 miles, or Anglesey Sea Zoo, 8.5 miles.
