What our customers say about their holidays

    • Barry - Verified booking

61 Seatown is a really beautiful cottage, decorated to a very high standard and has everything you need.

It was welcoming and comfortable and was the perfect place to stay. We were warm and cosy and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It wasn't a problem for us, but, the steep stairs may be an issue for some, so best to be aware. The only little thing which I would have appreciated was a dressing table and mirror by the window in the main bedroom or even a small table and mirror just to do hair and make-up. This is not a criticism just something that I personally would have found very useful. 61 Seatown was a perfect place to stay and we look forward to returning to this 'little gem' of a cottage very soon. Cullen itself is wonderful. The cottage is 2 minutes from the beach and harbour and is surrounded by great walks and scenery. The town itself has everything you need and everybody is very friendly. Cullen and the cottage make for a lovely relaxing holiday and we can't wait to return.

As perfect as a holiday let gets and the best we have stayed with through Sykes.

While the property looks good on the advert it is even better in reality. It is the first place we have stayed where we didn't feel the need to clean things before using them. The property was spotless, everything had been thought of. The bed was comfortable too which seems to be a rare thing in many holiday lets. The views from the property were fantastic! It was nice to have a welcome pack, something a lot of places don't do now, what made it even nicer was it was thoughtful and homemade - the bread was delicious. The helpful pack in the property had also been considered and was well written was clear and simple instructions for everything in the property - really useful. We'd love to revisit at some point. Thank you to Margaret and Wilson for making our holiday so lovely by providing the perfect property!

Amazing home from home holiday cottage!

From the minute we arrived at Enzie Cottage after a long drive we were more than happy as a family of 4 and our dog. Everything was spotless, well presented and comfortable for our needs. Great to have a log burner with ample supply of logs in a holiday cottage, although we did to use it that much as we had a glorious week in Scotland. Beds super comfy, kitchen very well equipped and fantastic views - private and peaceful. The owners Margaret and Wilson who live near are lovely, friendly and full of local knowledge, they cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Lots of lovely little touches like beautiful homemade jam and bread and towels/treats for your dog. Delighted with our new find, we will be back for sure as we have lots to still explore on the east coast of Scotland!

We had a fabulous week at Enzie Station cottage.

The cottage is beautiful inside and out, and had everything we needed. The garden is beautiful and has outdoor seating with a wonderful view down to the sea. The owners had left us some freshly baked bread, jam and milk on our arrival, and even some treats for the dog - this was a lovely welcome! The owners also made contact prior to our arrival to advise re key collection and were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is set in the countryside, just outside Buckie, and so was very peaceful but not far from amenities / places of interest. I would highly recommend the cottage as a base for exploring the local area.

This property is really stunning, not just because of the actual cottage itself, but also due to the great views, especially as you enter the back garden through the double glass doors.

The garden is spacious as is the cottage with an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. Bathroom downstairs consist of a power shower/ toilet and is spacious, whilst upstairs you can enjoy a bath in a free standing bathtub which is overlooked by a ceiling velux window to view the stars at night. All the bedrooms are roomy with the main one being the double bedroom downstairs just across from the bathroom. The owners live about 100yards away but were totally unobstrusive , but were there if you needed them. Great place and had a wonderful stay despite the wet week and the dog thought the garden was heaven
