    About this property

An impressive semi-detached, spacious and very well-equipped cottage, superbly located in the town of Cullen on the stunning Moray Firth, on the scenic north east coast of Scotland. With accommodation spread over three floors, this Cullen cottage offers welcoming extras such as an external games room annexe with table tennis and pool table. The relaxed atmosphere of this Moray Firth cottage makes it an ideal venue for a large family or group of friends who will appreciate the location and the accommodation within this large house. There are six bedrooms spread over the first and second floors, offering great flexibility with sleeping arrangements. The well-equipped kitchen/diner in this Cullen cottage has a table seating ten people, a great place for a meal together, plus there is also a second dining area that can accommodate six. The welcoming sitting room, with its comfortable sofas, is a perfect place to relax in the evening and the TV room, with its bean bags, will be very popular with the younger guests, as will the games room situated just next door. At the front of this Cullen cottage is a patio area and this is a perfect place for a meal during the summer months. A stroll down the hill will lead you to the friendly array of shops that the town has to offer and further on is the dramatic Moray Firth coastline and pretty harbour, plus Cullen is proud of its sandy beach which was awarded the EU flag for clean bathing. The Moray Firth coast boasts so many things to see and do, but head inland to Fochabers with its antique shops and visit the headquarters of the world famous Baxters of Speyside where you can sample one of their freshly made pancakes topped with Baxters jam. This lovely Cullen cottage and idyllic location will ensure a wonderful holiday on the beautiful north east coast of Scotland.

The coastal town of Cullen boasts a natural harbour on the Moray Firth coast. Enjoy a spot of golf at either of the Cullen or Strathlene golf courses or take a pleasant drive to the city of Elgin, home to an imposing cathedral, museums and the Biblical Gardens.

    Mrs Chell ‐ 1 Jul 2018
"A superb location being so very close to the beach (it really is just a 5 min walk) and it is a fantastic beach to keep kids entertained as is sandy, but also rock pools and good pebbly area too - plus is very quiet even on a hot summers day as it’s so remote up there! Hours of entertainment there alone. (Bonus is the golf house on the beach, as has toilets and Sells drinks and food too). Great places to visit nearby - strathisla distillery in Keith was amazing for grown ups, Baxter’s in ..."
    Mrs Weightman ‐ 1 Jun 2018
"We had a fab weeks holiday in this well equipped house. Plenty parking and lovely patio to sit in the sun. Situated a two minute walk from a swing park and stunning beach at the bottom of the hill it was ideal for the grand kids ( and big kids!) plenty space in the house for us all to spread out 10/10 well done! Must thank the housekeeper Debbie who went above n beyond to return the items we left behind too."

"Great family holiday house which offers plenty of flexible space for families of all ages. Warm, cosy and well equipped, we had everything we needed and more! Cullen is a lovely, friendly fishing village with a range of unusual shops, cafes and is a super base to explore the Moray coast. It has a small well-stocked supermarket, a brilliant ice cream shop and a great fish and chip shop. Rockpool Cafe is worth a visit as it offers the local delicacy Cullen Skink, as well as a range of super cakes. The location is great for walks and exploring the many fishing villages along the coast. We would especially recommend walking across the viaduct in Cullen to Port Knockie and back along the coastal path, down Jennie’s steps, passed Jennie’s Well and back along the beautiful sandy Cullen Beach - 5 miles with beautiful views! We will return!"
