The town also has a local swimming pool, bowls club and there is a choice of golf clubs. Events include the Keith Country Show held the second weekend in August each year, a 1940s week, and a music festival the first weekend in June where acts come from all over Scotland and Ireland to perform. Keith is the home of three distilleries, with the Strathisla Distillery, one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and producer of the famous Chivas Regal whisky within walking distance of the bungalow. Keith is also the start of the Malt Whisky Trail, a must for any whisky lover. Also within walking distance is ‘The Whisky Line’ heritage railway, which runs from Keith to Dufftown every weekend between Easter-end October. Special events are held on the railway throughout the year.

"A very well kept Bungalow just off the main shopping street in Keith which feels very homely. Beds comfortable and the kitchen has everything in it you would want for your stay. The white goods are excellent quality with a newly installed gas hob and electric oven. Owner provides a welcome hamper with tasty treats, milk in the fridge and gives tips on heating etc when you phone the week prior to your stay. The cleanest cottage we have stayed in."
"Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalow. Central but quiet in Keith. Lots of friendly touches. Many thanks!"
"beautiful very well equipped bungalow. Great area for touring and walking."
"Really clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalow with a separate shower which is ideal for someone struggling with stairs etc. We were up catching up with family so location suited us as well. Wi-fi connection great and can't fault the property. The only negative was sorting out other people's rubbish that was in the wrong bin and unwashed - not the cottage's problem I know."
