Lovingly decorated and furnished, this Kincraig cottage has been built in an eco-friendly style using some of the stone from the original cottage on the site, which means that the walls are up to a foot and a half thick in places. South facing, with open views across the fields and hills where you can see buzzards and deer, this Kincraig cottage is full of light and is ideal for a family holiday in the rugged and beautiful Cairngorms National Park. At this Kincraig cottage there are three bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, offering flexibility and choice for the whole family. The living accommodation at this Kincraig cottage is enhanced by the open fire which means that you can curl up on chilly evenings with a warming drink and reflect on your day's activities. Well equipped kitchen and really nice spaces to relax. Excellent bedrooms and comfy beds/bedding. As mentioned phone signal can be poor across networks and WiFi slow for streaming/downloading - but this is a minor point and mentioned in booking info.

We had a couple of minor issues which were promptly resolved by the owner who lived locally. It is well located for sports facilities at Loch Insh and walks around Loch an Eileen and Loch Morlich although access to the latter was closed due to fires during our visit. The small lounge upstairs is ideal for younger family members to watch separate TV or DVDs. The beds and furnishings were comfortable throughout.
