Furnished and equipped to a good standard, this detached property offers comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting. Aviemore is situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and is on the Speyside Way. It boasts a super choice of shops, restaurants, and bars. There is a wide range of outdoor activities available, including skiing and snowboarding, mountain and quad biking, climbing and hill walking, and a variety of water sports on nearby Loch Insch, Loch Morlich and the River Spey. Visit the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre or the Highland Wildlife Park at nearby Kingussie.
Within a few minutes’ walk is the lovely Spey Valley Golf Club and the Dalfaber Resort with its wonderful array of leisure activities. Visit the Landmark Forest Adventure Park at nearby Carrbridge, a wonderful fun filled activity centre. Further afield, take a trip to the beautiful west coast and the Isle of Skye, or a day trip to the Orkney Islands is well worth the effort. Visit the Moray coastline, which is peppered with little fishing villages and beautiful beaches and has been voted in the top 20 the best coastline destinations in the world. We enjoyed our stay at The Pines Nice and clean accommodation with everything that you needed provided Bed was comfortable and a bonus for having two bathrooms with showers (although en- suite bathroom showerhead was loose and kept on falling forward ) Microwave was a little high up for me but I am only 4ft 11 inches but it served its purpose Information instructions helped on numerous occasions for the first few daysThe Pines was ideally situated for the places we had planned to visit Unfortunately the weather was not brilliant but enjoyed our stay anyway

The Pines is a lovely lodge which is very comfortable and clean with lovely soft furnishing and towels. We ate in most nights as the lodge was well equipped, enjoying some venison and beef from Rothiemurchus farm shop. We enjoyed being able to walk into Aviemore and onto the Rothiemurchus estate from the lodge and accessing the Glenmore area was also so easy - it is in a perfect location. Only thing we missed was WiFi which would make it a perfect stay!

Quality caravan. Spotlessly clean. Everything provided, so no thinking what you will need to bring. Literally, just your own food and drinks are needed. Friendly bar on site. A 10 minute leisurely walk into Aviemore passing The Old Bridge Inn, great food served. Highly recommend.
