Ideal for multi-generational stays or large family get-togethers, Blencathra can accommodate up to 15 guests and offers them ample access to many of North Yorkshire's fantastic coastal attractions. The property is accompanied by an on street parking space permit can be provided by the owner, however, it also rests close to a railway station, for added convenience. Step inside the property to find the delightful sitting room, where you can kick back and relax after a day packed with fun at the beach.The designated chef(s) of the group will be pleased to find a good selection of appliances in the galley kitchen, including a handy dishwasher! The kitchen also backs onto a convenient utility room, where your laundry facilities are situated; so you can keep your holiday wardrobe fresh throughout your break! When it's time to tuck into dinner, venture to the dining room, a convivial space offering ample seating for up to 12 people; why not pop open a bottle of fizz and make a toast to this wonderful getaway? Freshen up at the end of the day with a dip in the soothing suds of the bathroom's bath on the first floor; a handy cloakroom can also be found on this floor. As your eyes grow heavy, head upstairs to find six charming bedrooms peppered throughout three floors, with the first of these being a lovely double with an en-suite shower room on the second floor; continue to the third floor to discover another double with a basin and a TV. The fourth floor is home to a double which is zip/linked, so it can be a twin if needed, and features a TV whilst also resting close to a shower room. Ascend the stairs again to reach the fifth floor, where two family rooms await, one of which offers a double and a bunk bed ideal for a couple with 2 kids, and the other of which hosts a double and a single; both of these bedrooms have access to en-suite shower rooms. On sunny days, head out to the rear yard to soak up the sea breeze with a refreshing drink in hand whilst your canine companions stretch their legs. The property truly enjoys a prime location, with Whitby's abundance of attractions resting moments away, such as the remains of the gothic Whitby Abbey, the famed 199 Steps, Whitby Golf Club and Whitby Beach, to name a few! The town is also home to a selection of eateries and well-equipped shops, so you will be well-catered to during your holiday. For more fun at the seaside, travel along the coast to Scarborough, home to SEA LIFE and Alpamare UK, ideal for the kids, along with hosting the historic sights of the Rotunda Museum and Scarborough Castle; be sure to spend some time on the town's stunning sands, too! Why not travel to Pickering for a day out, where the North Yorkshire Moors Railway can be boarded, the Beck Isle Museum can be toured and the remains of Pickering Castle can be explored. A plethora of coastal sights are waiting to be discovered, by foot via the Cleveland Way or by car, such as Robin Hood's Bay, Ravenscar and Sandsend; whilst further inland rests the North York Moors National Park, where ample outdoor activities await. There is so much joy to be had at Blencathra.

Whitby is a historic coastal town in North Yorkshire. With its picturesque harbour and 199 Steps, the town is a popular tourist destination for visitors who enjoy exploring its winding streets and coastal views. Whitby Abbey, one of the most striking historic ruins in the country, and the Whitby Museum, which showcases artefacts and paintings that explore local and national history and life, are among many attractions.
