Resting in the heart of the popular seaside town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire is this stunning Victorian, three-storey holiday home, Railway House. With a stunning, custom made hot tub and plenty of social space, while being within easy reach of local amenities, Scarborough train station, and the beach, this property is ideal for a group celebration or a large family gathering. On arrival at the home, off-road parking provides a private space to unload your bags, and a convenient place to leave your car if you like to set off on foot. Enter the bright and airy hallway, a gorgeous space to invite you in to begin your holiday. Stepping inside there is not one but two spacious lounges; The Ladies Lounge which has a feminine touch to the interior design, with plush sofas offering seating for everyone and a large 60-inch TV. The Gentleman’s Lounge has a more masculine flair, boasting table football and games machine as well the large wall mounted TV and PlayStation for the gamers. The beautiful marble topped kitchen is open plan and has a 6 burner range master cooker with 3 ovens, built in oven and microwave, dishwasher, 60/40 fridge freezer, wine cooler and a separate utility with washing machine, tumble dryer and an extra fridge for convenience. The dining area is open plan and boasts the original 1800s range cooker beautifully restored in the chimney breast. Make your way down the hallway to find a handy utility where you can freshen up your clothes and towels after a day at the beach. Outside, relax and unwind at any time of day in the custom made stainless steel hot tub or perhaps take your meals alfresco with dinner at the outdoor dining table. When it's time to rest, ten bedrooms with plush beds welcome you to rest your head before more adventurous days out; the ground floor is home to a super-king-size, along with a bathroom, with both a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower, making it ideal for a multi-generational family.     On arrival the standard was immediately obvious, so clean and extremely well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped for the number of guests, with everything thought of. The welcome hamper was beautiful and very much appreciated. The location of the property made it so easy to actually walk down to the front promenade even with children! The group enjoyed the stay so much we will be returning next year!!
