Appledore boasts a rich maritime history, showcased at the North Devon Maritime Museum, and is renowned for its thriving arts and crafts scene, featuring numerous galleries and gift shops. For surf enthusiasts, the famous Westward Ho! beach is a mere 3 miles away. Explore further up the river in Bideford, located 3.5 miles away, where you can embark on a boat journey to the scenic National Trust-managed Lundy Island. For unbridled family enjoyment, head to The Big Sheep farm just 4 miles away or the Milky Way Adventure Park, nestled 11 miles along the coast.

Heading inside the cottage you will walk into an incredibly warming atmosphere, created by the light and airy open plan space. This opening room boasts a large dining table allowing you to enjoy family meals as one, along with a fabulous log burner from which to enjoy the crackle and pop on those chillier nights. Heading on through to the lounge you’ll find an array of wonderfully comfortable furniture, allowing you to enjoy your favourite films after a day of adventures across North Devon. The well-appointed kitchen also sits on this floor providing all appliances needed for a stress-free stay, with a family shower room completing the downstairs. When the night draws in head upstairs to your choice of three bedrooms, two bedrooms host a king-size bed with one having the added luxury of an en-suite shower room, whilst the third and final bedroom handily offers something different with a double and a single bed.
