Olchard Lodge has everything you need for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape from the everyday routine. After parking directly outside the lodge in your own private car port, step through the beautiful oak stable door into the welcoming entrance hallway. From here, the open-plan living space immediately gives a feeling of light and space, with natural light flooding the room.
The well-equipped kitchen features high-quality appliances, including a coffee machine and wine cooler, perfect for keeping your favourite bottles chilled before enjoying the hot tub. The living and dining area is comfortable and cosy, with a wall-mounted Smart TV and a glowing wood burner creating the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Large sliding doors open onto the private patio area, where you can enjoy comfortable seating and views across the surrounding field and trees. Just around the corner, tucked away in a sheltered position, is the private hot tub, providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoor space.
Back inside the lodge, the bedroom is located on the opposite side of the property and features a comfortable kingsize bed, ideal for a restful night’s sleep. The bedroom has direct access to the bathroom, which includes a large walk-in shower. Each guest is provided with a soft bathrobe and luxurious The White Company towels for added comfort during their stay.
Set within the grounds of the owners’ property in the semi-rural hamlet of Olchard, near Newton Abbot and close to Dartmoor National Park, Olchard Lodge enjoys views across the surrounding field and trees. Its convenient location, with quick access to the main routes by car, makes it easy to explore Exeter, Dartmoor, the English Riviera and the South Hams, making it an ideal base for discovering South Devon.
A great selection of country pubs and restaurants can be found within a short drive, while the nearby coastal towns of Shaldon and Teignmouth are also within easy reach. Venture a little further to discover Paignton, Torquay and Brixham, or explore the historic towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe.

Where do we start with Olchard Lodge??? It's absolutely beautiful inside and out. Kirsten and Simon have created a lovely space that is a joy to stay in. From the minute we walked through the front door we knew it was where would have a lovely time. Kirsten had provided a welcome basket (prosecco, rose lemonade, crackers, crisps, malteasers,) with a small blackboard saying welcome to us and enjoy your stay. The lounge/kitchen/dining area was bright, clean, airy and everything looked brand new. There was a Nespresso machine with pods (Vertuo), dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge with milk and water, and all other things that a kitchen needs. There's a nice hd TV, comfy sofa and footstool, small dining table and 2 chairs and log burner in the corner. The bedroom was well equipped and the bed looked very comfy. The ensuite was large, had a big walk in shower and everything we needed. Outside are 2 seating areas, 2 sun loungers and the hot tub (under cover permanently, good if it's raining).Kirsten was very accommodating and wanted to make sure we had a great time at their place and nothing was too much trouble. She came to see us when we arrived and when we were leaving and we chatted to Simon a couple of times while he was walking the dogs and cat. They were there if we needed anything but left us alone for the duration of the stay. We both said that we could happily live here and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone we know in the future. It was a pleasure to stay there. They should both be extremely proud of what an oasis of calm they have created. We loved it and will happily return. **

What a lovely place to spend a holiday. We spent a week there. Olchard Lodge deff had the wow factor. Spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need for a stay there. The welcome pack was an absolute treat and much appreciated. We used the lodge as a base to see the surrounding area and travelled as far as Lands End. Going back to the lodge after a day exploring was great, into the hot tub to relax. No noise heard and we had a good sleep each night. We would absolutely recommend Olchard Lodge. If we ever venture that way again, we would deff return.
