Taunton with its County Cricket Ground, race course, museum and well regarded Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre, lies within 13 miles. The cathedral city of Exeter, with its beautiful historic quarter, quay, botanic gardens, cafés, restaurants and excellent shopping, is only 24 miles. Within a 40-minute drive to the south you can discover the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, with pretty coastal towns and villages such as the acclaimed Lyme Regis, Seaton, Beer and Sidmouth with their family friendly beaches.
