    Mrs Carol Cookson, Grantham, Lincolnshire
"Allmans Heath Byre was a lovely little cottage, with a fantastic view over hills and reservoir. The owner was friendly and helpful. Walks and cycle rides were very close by and the town of Glossop was only a mile away (although the cottage was surrounded by countryside). All in all, a great holiday in a beautiful setting."
    Mr Adam Mcculloch, Chesterfield, Derbyshire
"Had a wonderful time at the Byre. The cottage is ideal for a couple, cosy and well laid-out. Views over the hills and Swineshaw Reservoir are fantastic, and it makes a great base for exploring this side of the Peak District. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back."
    Mrs Wendy Farrar, Leominster, Herefordshire
"Allmans Heath Byre is a lovely warm cosy cottage, in a great area for a choice of walks. Ideal for a few days to "get away from it all"."

"A nice relaxing break in a lovely cottage on the edge of the Peak District. The cottage was a converted Byre (hence the name) and was decorated to a good standard. Although on a fairly busy road at peak times it was not noisy in the least."
    Miss Fallon Forshaw, Hagersten, Stockholm
"A beautiful little cottage, in an ideal location, with stunning views. The cottage has a lovely garden for eating outside."
    Mr Neil Hughes, Wirral,
"Liked everything, the location and also the owner, nothing was too much trouble, she told us places to visit and places to eat out. A very relaxing weeks break, will be going back again. Was so sad to have to leave."
    Mr Dean Arnold, Southampton, Hampshire
"The owner was an excellent host, we were greeted with cup cakes and a warm smile the cottage was immaculate. I would definitely recommend to any one. The area and scenery was fantastic. "
    Mr Peter Leighton, Tring, Hertfordshire
"We really loved the cottage and compliment the owner for the warm welcome. The cottage is very nice and comfortable, especially the wood burner. Great location with all the Northern Dales including Manchester (on the train) in easy reach."
    Miss Ami Macfarlane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
"Thanks for a great Christmas break! The owner was lovely and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were recently furnished, homely and clean. We made regular use of the fire. It's a convenient distance to walk to the local town of Glossop and also has easy access to the hills for walking (in the snow!). It's a house with a great deal of charm and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again."
Mr Graham Budden, Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan
"Very warm welcome from the owner. We had a very relaxing and cosy stay at Allmans Heath Byre would thoroughly recommended."
