This ideally located modern town house is only two minutes from the golden sandy beach and harbour in this popular seaside resort. The tranquil village of Beadnell is ideal for watersports enthusiasts, walkers or those looking for some peace and tranquility. Cycling, walking or driving along this beautiful stretch of coastline allows you to view the magnificent scenery, peppered with castles and villages. Horse riding, golf and bowling can be found close by. A trip to see the seals at the Farne Islands is a must from nearby Seahouses. Banburgh is 3 miles and Alnwick, famous for its castle used in Harry Potter and its water gardens is only 12 miles. Shop 600 yards, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.

Our third stay at Jimbow, so it's obviously a good place to stay.The house is very close to the great local beach and a short drive to many other places of interest, both coastal and inland. There is everything in the house and kitchen you could hope for. Any hiccups are quickly sorted, e.g. sorting out some oven gloves for me. The local store is well stocked with friendly staff. We don't eat out much, but the Landings in Beadnell seems to have a good menu. This time we visited the whisky distillery, Ad Gefrin, in Wooler. About 30 minutes away through great countryside. The museum is free and worth a look and I'm sure the whisky tasting tour will be a must for whisky lovers. Wooler itself has some interesting local shops.
