This ideally located modern town house is only two minutes from the golden sandy beach and harbour in this popular seaside resort. The tranquil village of Beadnell is ideal for watersports enthusiasts, walkers or those looking for some peace and tranquility. Cycling, walking or driving along this beautiful stretch of coastline allows you to view the magnificent scenery, peppered with castles and villages. Horse riding, golf and bowling can be found close by. A trip to see the seals at the Farne Islands is a must from nearby Seahouses. Banburgh is 3 miles and Alnwick, famous for its castle used in Harry Potter and its water gardens is only 12 miles. Shop 600 yards, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.

We had a lovely text message before our holiday from the owners explaining everything which is always comforting. On the day we arrived It was quite cold for May but the house was lovely and warm. The owners had left out milk and biscuits which was a nice touch. The house is immaculately clean, the beds were extremely comfortable & the kitchen had everything we needed. It’s a two minute walk to the beach & there are several really good places to eat all within, between, a five minute to a fifteen minute walk away. There is also a fabulous fish and chip van just near the green. The walk along the beach or on the sand dunes to Seahouses is lovely……stop off at ‘The Mad Cow’ tea hut in the farm just off the path through the sand dunes. The cakes are delicious. Or walk the opposite way from Seahouses along the Beach to Low Newton By The Sea & grab a crab sandwich at The Ship Inn. We had an amazing week & we will be back because the house & the area had everything we needed for a perfect week hiking & eating!!!
