Fairways is a beautifully presented linked-detached bungalow nestled amongst similar properties within the heart of the picture perfect coastal village of Beadnell. The accommodation enjoys a homely ambience and is conveniently all on the ground floor. There is a cosy wood burner in the living room ensuring a warm welcome regardless of the season. The kitchen overlooks the rear garden and a lovely private patio to dine al fresco, and both bedrooms and the family bathroom are immaculately presented.
Beadnell is a popular holiday destination and offers local facilities including family friendly pubs serving good food, all within a gentle stroll from Fairways. A small sandy bay speckled with rocky outcrops is close by and leads to a long sandy beach that stretches to Seahouses, 2 miles north. The wide expanse of golden sandy beach, which Beadnell Bay is renowned for, is within easy walking distance. This is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, including sailing, sea kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving. Beadnell Bay is described as the jewel in Northumberland’s seaside crown; an idyllic spot for a romantic barefoot stroll in the sand to listen to the waves lap against the shoreline and inhale the invigorating sea air.
Two miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. Here there are several charming tea rooms, quaint pubs and shops with horse riding; fishing and golf on the links close by being only a sample of the many amenities available in this popular location. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic fortress and commands the power and presence of the seasoned television set it regularly becomes. Holy Island, the birthplace of Christianity in England and site of Lindisfarne Castle, can be seen from the unspoilt golden, sandy beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy!). Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden, a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the Grand Cascade waterfall, and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe! We had a lovely stay at Fairways , Beadnell. The bungalow was very clean and and the kitchen was excellently stocked and had every thing we needed. Best we stayed at, and an added bonus was the welcome pack which was very appreciated. Conveniently close to the beach and a shop and all the other attractions. Will recommend.

We had a lovely week at Fairways. Had everything you would need for self catering holiday. Very comfortable, bed linen and towels excellent. Kitchen well equipped and lounge very comfortable. We thought the bathroom could benefit from some upgrades. Shower curtain is not what I would choose, bath was slippery when having a shower. Toilet could be difficult to flush.Outside ( back garden) was brilliant for our dog and off road parking a bonus. Would recommend to others visiting the area. So close to a lovely beach for long walks. Love the area.
