"My daughter and I have recently stayed in this lovely cottage on West Looe Hill. The cottage is fresh and clean, decorated in a modern style whilst retaining the charm of the original features. I would say that to advertise it as having parking is slightly misleading as only the smallest car could fit in front of the property. To be fair, the owner who was very helpful, did tell us this when we called a few days before for the key code, but it is not that clear when you book. We parked either at the top of the hill on the estate when we could or else down in the car park where we paid £1.50 to park between 18.00 and 08.00. The hill is very steep,so anyone who has difficulty with mobility, beware. The views as you descend the hill are stunning. If you like cats, you will be delighted by the little ginger tom who visits! The coastal walk from Looe to Polperro is delightful ( steep in places) and there are some good places to eat in Looe, notably The Smuggler's Cott and the Moonlight Tandoori. A big thank you to the cleaners who telephoned us to say we had left something behind, we were very grateful! All in all we had a super stay. Highly recommended."

"We love Looe so much to do, beautiful walks, nice pubs and restaurants and plenty of cafés. Favourite place is Daisy's cafe fantastic breakfast, or just pop in for a coffee and a piece of cake. Best restaurant for us is the smugglers cote food is excellent. The apartment is open plan nice and clean and state of the art appliances, including a dishwasher and washing machine, the little touches of tea, milk and biscuits was a nice touch. We walked from looe to polperro which was about 5 miles a lovely walk visited varies shops once there also got the boat back which was something different, another day we walked the coastline to Merendreath beach this was about 2 miles we visited the black rock cafe I would recommend a visit there nice coffee and cake, all in all a lovely week of pure indulgence we had the perfect week and yes we would love to stay in the apartment again and I'm sure we will be back xxx"

"The cottage itself was absolutely fantastic if anything it exceeded our expectations. It's beautiful view of looe is worth the money alone! All facilities were modern and worked as they should. The only negative was that 2 days before arrival I tried to call both numbers supplied for the caretakers to discuss the key box. I left 3 messages and I got nothing back. I contacted Sykes who emailed me the key safe combination but the lack of contact from the caretakers then caused a problem when we arrived and there were coded padlocks on the main gate that both Sykes and myself were unaware of. Eventually Sykes got hold of the owner who told them the code but also slipped in that "the caretakers should have told me this" which started the holiday on a slightly bitter note. Other than this it was fine."

"What a lovely holiday cottage it was. It was homely and comfortable with everything to make us feel settled. The owners even left a small bottle of milk and soap there for us, for when we arrived which was lovely. Parking was easier than we expected. Lovely facilities with little touches to make it homely and comfortable rather than the bare minimum as i have seen in some other advertised cottages. The bedrooms were lovely and cosy with plenty of space and storage space to unpack bags. The extra room upstairs wasn't needed by us but it was a lovely attic room with an amazing view!! The wood burner was lovely to have and kept us nice and cosy during the evenings. Perfect little holiday cottage and so close to Looe and routes to explore wider Cornwall."

"Comfortable, clean and welcoming. There were scones, cream and jam waiting for us when we arrived. The owners were helpful, but were not intrusive. An oasis of peace and tranquillity, with wonderful views.A lovely cottage with plenty of space for two people. Personally we would have liked a little more workspace, sink space in the well equipped kitchenette area but that is only because cooking our meals is part of our holiday. Otherwise fabulous. It was clean, well presented- home from home! The owners were lovely - lived next door but we're not at all intrusive, yet handy for questions! Near Looe - short car ride of 5 minutes, and a handy base to see the marvellous sights of the rest of Cornwall. Would be very happy to stay here again."
