"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the S22493. The kitchen appliances worked very well, and we enjoyed sitting at the table. The downstairs bedroom was nice and the bed soft. The bedding was warm and clean and the cabin really retained its heating and the stone was really solid. Felt very secure inside as the wind and rain was really strong outside for the first two days there. The cabin could of done with a wipe down on the tables, dressers, and bunkers as these were a bit dusty/dirty, and there were some cobwebs too. There was a wee bit coal and some logs left but was wet and couldn't start a fire the first night, I was told that we would have this refilled but it wasn't, and the fireplace wasn't cleaned out of ashes either, despite this we left some for the next person anyways. The sky box didn't work while we were there so we contacted the owners, they were very nice and tried to help us out with this but being there on the weekend couldn't send someone till Monday which was the day we left, but the owners kept in contact with us to let us know what they were doing to try and get this fixed. Watching tv was not our main concern on this beautiful island but there was a game we wanted to watch on Sunday and was unable to, we listened to the game on the radio in the kitchen and that was nice, the radio worked very well. They had some movies on DVDs to watch so we did this at night, but next time we go I think I'll take some along too as I don't think the connections very good on isle of Skye. I know when I read the reviews that some people were saying that it could benefit from another bathroom, but one bathroom was fine, the water tank could of been bigger as we ran out of hot water ALOT and there's no shower, just a detachable shower head for the bath, my mom being older couldn't step into the bathtub alone so needed help, the hot water tank can fill the bath tub up once then takes about half a day to reheat so just bear that in mind when scheduling everyone's bath. My family and I go up to Isle of Skye at least once a year and always enjoy our time up there no matter what the weather, and we will be back. I would stay at this cabin again."

"Me and my photographer colleague stayed here in October for 4 nights to explore beautiful Skye. We loved croft house. The location is fabulous with an amazing view over the bay towards towering cliffs and impressive waterfalls tumbling into the sea. It was also an ideal location for one of Skye's most famous attractions Neist point which is only 5 mins drive away. The cottage itself was cosy, clean and spacious with ample dining and lounge area for easily 4 or so people in comfort. Kitchen is very well stocked with cooking equipment and crockery so much so there was barely any room to store food in the cupboards but that was not an issue. Bedrooms are both of a substantial size and beds very comfortable with of course that epic view to wake up to in the morning. Bathrooms also provided shower and bath with hot water on tap. I have only marked down equipment slightly as there is no wifi here. this wasn't a problem for me as I had a strong 4g signal but my colleague had none. It was not the end of the world though as just enjoying being away from it all but be aware that if you need internet there is no wifi here. Also marked down local amenities as there are none really. Again this was no problem for us at all as we expected it and came well stocked and when we visited portree just stocked up again. but just marking it down for people to be aware. Overall though we loved our stay and would visit again in a heartbeat. Beautiful island beautiful cottage to rent highly recommended. Hope to visit again soon."

"S71498 is a stunning cottage in a stunning location. The cottage has everything you would need and more. It has everything listed but also had a freezer and tumble drier which we didn't know about. Take some logs as it's very cosy at night with the logburner on.The cottage is on a hill and although there was a cottage below us and one above, it is not overlooked by any of the others. On arrival, the place was spotless. The views over Loch Pootiel and Dunvegan Head are just beautiful. There isn't anything local really, you have to drive to all the popular places. My partner did this while most days I was happy to relax in the cottage as I loved it so much and never got bored with the view.If you're looking for peace, quiet and somewhere secluded, this is definitely the place for you. I fell in love with it immediately and would love to return one day."

"The cottage is lovely, very spacious, but cosy too. We had some wild weather during our stay, but staying in was a pleasure too so we weren't too disappointed by the wind and horizontal rain. We were lucky enough to have a couple of clear nights, including the meteor shower which was breath taking! Local shop in Glendale was really well stocked and the staff were delightful.. Owner was charming when we called for key box code, great start to the holiday compared to previous experience. We only marked down the value for money slightly as we normally don't holiday in the peak season and found the price high by comparison to off season, but that was our choice. Cottage was lovely and clean and we highly recommend it."

"- cold heating day 1- small amount of kindling to start a fire- newly painted rooms left us with affected eyes and skin rashes- no washing machine- dead rabbit in back garden was off putting- down stairs bathroom locked did not work and locked one of us in for 10 Mins- details of local contact were incorrect. When we did have the right contact she shouted at us that we should not have her number- not enough plates or bowls - dining room fire place not working- we did not make comments in the guest book as we believe our complaints are more serious and will seek compensation via our lawyer for compensation due to toxic paint fumes and we had to cut our holiday short by 4 days due to complaints."
