What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Ludlow To Rent.

"One of the main reasons we booked this cottage was because of the "secure garden" for our dog, unfortunately within minutes of arriving our dog had easily escaped from the garden and was on the road that is directly outside the grounds, the allocated courtyard garden is not secure for dogs and it needs some work to make it so. The seats in the garden are low standard plastic chairs, of which two of the four were broken, as was the table. The cottage itself is very nice and has a bright and airy feel to it, everything you need for self catering is provided, however I do not think it is practical for more than two adults. The only seating in the living area is two sofa beds, these are very uncomfortable and they are not suitable for frequent use. Other reviewers have commented on the cattle grid outside the property disturbing their sleep and I have to agree with them, it is directly outside the bedroom window just above your head as you lay in bed and vehicles start rattling across it from around 5:30 a.m. The nice touches that we have become used to when we book a cottage holiday were missing, there was no welcome pack in fact there was no welcome, as the owners were busy getting ready to go away for the weekend, we were made to feel like bit parts.I'm sorry but I would not recommend this property."

"Thanks to Sue for these two weeks in a very well located town house to visit the country. Kevin was helpful to fix the window in our very nice bathroom and Charles the plumber replace quickly the sink tab which was out of order before our arriving, as was the one of the washbasin. Thanks to Trudy who came to do the cleaning between the two weeks even she didn't know what to really do. Thanks again for making the bed of our daughter, the one which was not at arriving. Just a regret : no welcome book and information about the litter (recycling ?) and the washing machine not in the kitchen but in an unfinished cellar to reach by a steep stair without hand rail. We hope to have helped save the plants in front of the house by watering them every day."

"We had a very good stay at S16810. Sharon and her family were exceptional hosts and our dog became good friends with Scout and Luna. The accommodation suited our needs and everything was so clean . The location was idyllic for us and we very much enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. Everything is easy to get to by car. The double bed was so very comfortable and we were never disturbed by the cattle grid. We found the sofas a little uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time, however , this in no way detracted from our week long stay. We would thoroughly recommend S16810 and hope to return. Many thanks Sharon & family."

"She also checked on us when there was a power cut and left us cake, fruit and milk on our arrival. Beds and shower where great, kitchen was a bit small but fine for 2 people especially as we ate out a lot. The location was great for days out, walking with the dog (Croft Castle, Ironbrige, Shrewsbury and Bridgenorth particularly) and found lots of dog friendly pubs in Hopton Wafers and Cleobury Mortimer (would recommend Hopton Crown and The Kings Arms). All in all a great relaxing week despite the rain. Thanks"
