    Carmarthenshire Holiday Cottages

The county of Carmarthenshire sits in the south west of Wales and is marked by its three largest towns, Carmarthen, Llanelli and Ammanford. Known affectionately as ‘The Garden of Wales’, it’s also home to the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Carmarthenshire is home to mountains, rolling countryside and coast; with the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons bordering it, known as the Carmarthen Fans, with the Cambrian mountains to the north. The Millennium Coastal Path runs along the south of the county and is where spring really bursts into life.

We've got great Carmarthenshire holiday cottages available to book, including countryside retreats, sandy beach apartments and stunning open-plan balcony homes. Bring your family, friends and even the dog, with our dog-friendly accommodation.

    • Kerry - Verified booking

We have just returned from a 4 night stay and we wish we could have stayed longer.

The property was absolutely amazing. The photos really dont do this place justice. It is spacious and has everything you need provided (even hair straighteners!). My 2 boys (aged 13 and 6) are used to staying at places that have fairgrounds or arcades on site, so I was expecting them to be bored, but they absolutely loved it. My youngest enjoyed our morning hot drinks in the garden watching the sheep chase the crows. We will definitely be returning and have already shared the property with family members. Thank you so much for the best 4 days 5 star from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Travelled from Liverpool)

The cottage was clean and comfortable.

A dripping tap was resolved promptly. A set of drawers would be useful in the small room off the twin bedroom, especially if older children or adults were using that room. The property summary online, states that there is "allocated parking for 1 car to the side of the property". This suggests it is adjacent to the property and although the location wasn't a problem for us, it might be for some people, eg,if it was bad weather when unloading/loading luggage, especially if arriving in the evening as there is no lighting on the path.

We were absolutely delighted with Mews Cottage.

.what a find. Everything was so comfy and clean. Tucked into the end of the courtyard it was so quiet that once inside you feel you could be in the middle of the countryside it is so quiet. Having a place to park (tho narrow! ) is so convenient as means you can just wander down to the village. Going further afield in the car you have the lovely coastline..we visited Pendine, Amroth and Saundersfoot and in spite of mixed weather had a lovely relaxing short break...just what we needed.

Lovely cottage in a small village with easy car access to lots of lovely beaches, in particular at Bury Port (totally dog friendly and super in the evening).

Close to loads of beaches and villages, easy to get to Tenby and the Gower. A great little cottage, very clean, all bits in the kitchen and very comfy bed. Our little cockapoo loved being able to sit in the enclosed garden. Will stay again when in the area. Shame the pub has sadly closed but you can get delivery takeaways and sit in the garden or visit a number of pubs within a 15 minute drive. Shipaground and the Pembrey Inn both great.

We have enjoyed our stay at Llansaint.

The cottage is well kept and lovely place to have a summer break. In a way, we’ve been spoilt. The only downside may be a lack of a kitchen bin. The owners live next door and are very helpful whilst not being intrusive. The garden whilst small is very pretty and a lovely space to sit out and enjoy a cuppa. The village is very quaint although sadly the pub has now closed. The nearest shop is just a few miles away at Kidwelly.
