    Hot Tub Cottages in Cornwall

Before you book that plane ticket to some far-flung destination, consider taking your next luxury holiday to Cornwall. Yes, Cornwall! A firm-favourite with families, honeymooners, and surfers, Cornwall has everything you could ever wish for, including amazing sandy beaches, world-class restaurants and fascinating historic landmarks. The accommodation's pretty good too, and you'll find lots of great hot tub cottages in Cornwall for that added touch of indulgence. Who needs the Caribbean when you've got Carlyon Bay!

Nothing says luxury than your own private hot tub. How about relaxing underneath the clear Cornish sky, perhaps sipping on some champagne and forgetting all the stresses and strains of 'normal' life? Sounds blissful? Well, there are actually lots of excellent Cornwall hot tub cottages, something for all tastes and budgets, whether you're looking for a cosy little hideaway for two, or a spacious modern property to accommodate your next surfing holiday.

What to do on your Cornwall cottage holiday

Although it would be nice to stay in the hot tub for a fortnight, it's probably not healthy! And you'll undoubtedly want to get out and explore this stunning part of the world. Cornwall is packed full of amazing things to see and do and caters for all kinds of travellers. Its beaches, for example, range from lively surf spots like Fistral Beach to more tranquil strips of sand like Peter's Point Beach, a top place to head if you're looking to escape the crowds.

While Cornish beaches are amazing, what really makes this part of the country unique is the history and that tangible feeling of Arthurian Magic all around you. If history is your thing, then Tintagel is a must visit, a magnificent 12th century castle built along a cliff edge. If you're feeling particularly taken with the magic of the place, you might head to the Witchcraft Museum in Boscastle, which occasionally opens at night for a very special, spooky experience!

Cottages deliver the very best in comfort and quality, which is why you'll find a generous choice of excellent hot tub cottages in Cornwall – stunning accommodation that goes well beyond the norm to deliver an unforgettable holiday experience.

What our customers say about their holidays

    • Tanya - Verified booking

This was meant to be a very relaxing family holiday.

We found on arrival that the lodge was in very poor condition. There was pet and human hair in the carpet and in the draws! The property had a very offensive smell of a stale/mould. The cupboards in the kitchen gave off an awful musky smell. Myself and my disabled mother spent the first day cleaning the whole place and yet the property owners failed to have a decent working hoover or alternative dust pan and brush forcing me to clean the floor on my hands and knees! The hoover smelt so bad when switched on the bag has clearly never seen the light of day! It was like 50 pairs of old smelling socks! Needless to say I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience of our stay. No one should have to have gone on holiday only to have to spent the first few hours cleaning! I had to buy my own air fresheners to help keep the bad smells at bay. We were keen to leave the lodge on a daily basis but sadly the weather was not on our side and we spent many a rainy day in the lodge. The other thing is if it rains you have nowhere to dry your washing. A clothes horse would have been really handy! The place on a whole was not very inviting. The only decent thing was the hot tub. However I will point out that two of the head rests were missing and one day the owner left his bag of chemicals lying around and forgot to switch the hot tub back on. I have a young 3year old who luckily didn’t get hold of these chemicals. The owners were made aware of all of these matters but nothing was done to compensate us. The outside bbq was rusty and full of old coal which again the smell was just horrendous, safe to say we didn’t use this but it would have been nice to have had the option given it was advertised as having a bbq. The sofa bed is just awful! It is made up of springs and no padding, this is not fit for anyone to sleep on and my daughter complained each evening from how uncomfortable it was! On the last day the owner called and left me a voice message to say a new WiFi router was being installed. We came back to the lodge to find a new router but no instructions on what the new password was so we had no use of the telly or WiFi connection which was very disappointing! The mobile number I had been emailed wasn’t connecting and the office was closed. All in all a dry disappointing stay at Keylow and I would like to be compensated for spending a week feeling miserable in a holiday lodge with misleading pictures and information on your website.

      Wow..wow

...wow In all our years of holidaying, we have never stayed in such a wonderfully perfect setting.....but now we have The pictures online do not do it justice... Shaun and Christina are amazing hosts....from being in contact before arriving, excellent communication on how to get there and even meeting us on arrival...!!!.. All week, they were so kind to us, nothing is too much trouble and looked after us like we were in the best 5 star hotel Hot tub ready on arrival, fresh bread,,jam, butter( not that we saw that thanks to our 17 year old who found it amazing) The lodge was so spacious, utterly spotless inside, top quality fittings, and even fresh flowers in the lounge!!! They've created a folder that you get with such detailed information on the local area, which helped enormously when eating out, travelling etc The patio doors open onto a large patio area with a fantastic view of the garden and pond It was perfect timing to see the butterflies bees and birds The lodge is so private, the hosts never intruded but were just wonderfully kind to us. Perfect place to get to all of Cornwall, st ives, land end, eden project but we found a gem in Portreath 2 miles away for surfing lounging and ,esp The Hub for lunch THIS will be the best lodge, by a country mile, you will ever visit.....Thank you Shaun and Christina for helping to create lifelong wonderful memories of Cornwall for our boy...

The property is well located for Sennen Cove, but the name “sea the view” is a bit misleading as it doesn’t really have sea views.

The rooms are very nice quality and design and a lot of thought has gone into it. The photos on the listing showed comfy outdoor furniture but this had been replaced with less lounge furniture (which is obviously easier for them to maintain). So there was nowhere we could all sit and lounge outside (the comfy corner sofa chairs were not there, the swing chairs had been taken down etc). So it wasn’t quite as expected. The bed linen was lovely quality but the pillows were awful - I get this is very personal but I had to go out and buy some as they were that poor and the main bed had a super firm mattress. We had problems with the main patio door not working which meant there was a gap when they were closed and as it is quite an exposed garden the draft and noise of the wind was quite annoying. In addition we had a day of driving rain which lead to a large leak flooding the floor under the picture window. Eating in all the basics crockery was there but for example there was no salad bowl or serving plates, so if you were wanting to do a nice meal in it was a bit basic. The addition of an electric charger was very helpful. It was lovely but overall for the high price I don’t think it quite delivered.

We went for a week to chill out prior to spinal surgery and that’s just what we got.

The Lodge is really homely, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with quality items. Christina has really thought about the extra little touches, the fresh bread, butter, jam, milk and even a box of Cornish Fairings (biscuits) and a jar of sweets to welcome you after a long journey. When baking during the week Christina even gifted us a couple of tea cakes which were so tasty, The wild garden is a joy and so appropriate for the setting. We even had a deer visit one corner of the garden. The couple are extremely good hosts, there if you need them but never intrusive which was lovely, The area itself is very pretty with nice beaches nearby. A visit to the headland at Godrevy (NT) is a must and a little bit of heaven to be cherished. Most of the touristy places are also very accessible such as St Ives, Falmouth, Penzance etc. All in all we had a wonderful, restful holiday and we can highly recommend. To Christina and Shaun, thank you so much for making us so welcome and we hope to be back soon and to see the buddleia and lilac bushes in all their glory!

      Absolutely amazing.

From start to finish, we had the best experience ever, from the initial enquiry with Sykes to the holiday at Lazy Lodge itself. The welcome from Shaun and Christina was the best we've ever had - such lovely hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they provided a lovely welcome pack (including fresh home baked bread, baked by Shaun - thank you, delicious!). The lodge was well equipped, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the best we've ever had in the last 20 years of staying in Cornwall. All the little extra touches were appreciated. Whilst the owners live alongside and are available to help as required, they are in no way intrusive. We had a fabulous relaxing time at Lazy Lodge - the setting is amazing surrounded by trees, the lovely pond and wildlife (whilst we were there, we saw a fox with her cubs, ducks on the pond and even spotted the local woodpecker). The location is perfect for exploring both the North and South Cornish coasts with easy access to lots of great places. Looking forward to returning very soon. Thank you both for everything.
