Burrowed away in North Devon, Chumleigh is a remote, hill-top town with tonnes of charm. Perfect for experiencing some old school architecture (some houses are even thatched!) and a good traditional pint at the local pubs the Old Court House or The Globe. The Chulmleigh area has one of the greatest concentrations of grassland in the world and is home to the The Church of St Mary Magdalene, built when the town was economically thriving from the wool trade. It’s a quaint base in which to explore Devon and get back to nature.
