Snaptrip says

Spring Cottage in Devon is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, peaceful and rural location, and the welcoming nature of the owner. Guests appreciate the spaciousness, the garden, and the proximity to local attractions. While some mention the lack of WiFi and certain amenities, the overall sentiment is positive with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests have reported the cottage to be very clean, with only a few minor suggestions for improvement. The consistent mention of cleanliness suggests a high standard maintained by the owner.

The location is frequently described as peaceful and ideal for exploring the surrounding areas. However, some guests have noted the steep access road and the lack of nearby shops, which slightly affects the score.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere and a safe garden for pets. Some concerns about the temperature and the quality of the shower have been noted, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

While the property is generally well-equipped, several guests have mentioned issues with the shower, limited TV channels, and the absence of WiFi. These comments suggest room for improvement in the facilities and maintenance category.

There are inconsistent mentions of a welcome pack, with some guests receiving one while others did not. Due to the lack of consistent references to thoughtful gestures or gifts, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Very cosy and comfortable place although it could do with a few adjustments ie bigger TV and a bigger shower cubicle and a few more knickknacks in the kitchen

We go for the ruralness and peace that this property provides ..lovely spacious cottage with good size Rear garden. Owner is there if needed for any problems.

No WiFi but good phone signal. TV channels very limited but we weren’t there to watch TV. The electric shower wasn’t powerful but the corner bath and plentiful hot water more than compensated. Lynmouth and Lynton and the surrounding areas are lovely. The cottage is walking distance from the bus stop in Barbrook but the lane is very steep. The pub / Thai restaurant at Lynbridge is excellent.
