What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs V - Verified booking

Location was perfect for us. Titchwell RSPB close by and the coastal path just across the road. Love the walks along the sea wall through the marshland in the area. Several beautiful National Trust properties and sites an easy drive away. Great beaches and coastal and inland villages to explore. A couple of nice walkable pubs/ restaurants and many more if driving. Comfortable, stylish and spacious accommodation, we loved our stay. Outdoor space private but uninspiring as nothing to distract and no view. A few local grasses / plants would make it more inviting to sit out. Lighting nice but at night not enough to read by if sat on the couch in the lounge area. Also, not brilliant for cooking in the kitchen area. Definitely would come back for another holiday here as I loved the look and feel of The Cabin - I’ll bring a good head torch next time for reading.

Old Mill House provided the perfect holiday location for we 5 OAP friends. This spacious and beautifully renovated house was both luxuriously comfortable and highly practical. Super soft beds ensured an excellent night’s sleep after days spent exploring in every direction of this interesting part of Norfolk. Seals birds and wildlife for all to see! Panoramas filled with sky! Special mention must be made of the splendid boot room, drying facilities in the boiler room, and useful utility room all off a spacious rear entrance - and an outdoor sink and shower! We’ll be back! When you can tear yourself away from the coastal path, do not miss Castle Acre- a medieval village with remains of a Norman castle complete with earthworks and a priory. A hidden gem.

    Wells-next-the-Sea Beach

Wells Beach is easily one of Norfolk's finest. The sand goes on for miles and miles and hundreds of quirky colourful beach huts on stilts, run along the pine forest wall and back dunes. You can access the beach via the nearby carpark or it's a short walk or miniature rail ride from town along the East Fleet river.

    Old Hunstanton

Old Hunstanton is a small village adjacent to Hunstanton, a major seaside resort. Unlike its busy sibling, Old Hunstanton retains its quiet character, it has a clifftop walk along the stripped cliffs where you will pass Old Hunstanton Lighthouse and ruins of St Edmund's Chapel. A stunning 40-mile stretch of Norfolk coast path starts near Old Hunstanton. The large sandy beach has sand dunes and is popular with kite surfers and families alike. The Old Town Beach Cafe on the beach serves up delicious food and drinks and is dog friendly.
    Holkham Hall
Holkham Hall is a magnificent Palladian Mansion in North Norfolk. Spend a whole day here admiring the Hall, the walled garden and the beautiful grounds.

    Hunstanton Heritage Gardens

Overlooking the only stretch of the eastern coast facing west, the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens is a public open space. Views across the Wash are spectacular at sunset. Hunstanton's only significant open space covers approximately 6.8 hectares. A Victorian promenade garden with formally laid out annual beds, the Esplanade Gardens remain remarkably unchanged since they were built. The Green, Hunstanton, Norfolk, PE36 6BQ

    SEA LIFE Hunstanton

On the South Promenade in Hunstanton is the SEA LIFE sanctuary and aquarium. It's a popular family attraction that also houses Norfolk's Seal Rescue Center and Hospital. Because of the large population of Common Seals and Grey Seals along this stretch of the North Norfolk coast, the seal hospital cares for injured and vulnerable seals and seal pups until they can be released back into the wild. As well as the penguin beach, you can see insects and creepy crawlies at Rainforest Ranger basecamp, then walk through the ocean tunnel and see a huge variety of sea creatures. It is mostly wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly. Toilets and a cafe.

    Snettisham Park Deer Safari

Experience the thrill of getting up close and personal with magnificent deer on the Snettisham Park Deer Safari. Take a guided tour of the park and learn about these graceful creatures from knowledgeable experts. With stunning views and the opportunity to hand-feed the deer, this is a must-visit attraction for animal lovers. Address: Bircham Rd, Snettisham, Norfolk, PE31 7NG

    Hunstanton Seal Safari

Embark on a thrilling adventure with Hunstanton Seal Safari, as you set sail to encounter majestic seals in their natural habitat. Witness the seals basking in the sun, playing in the waves and swimming up close to the boat. With knowledgeable guides and stunning coastal scenery, this is an unforgettable experience for all ages. Address: Hunstanton Seal Safari, North Promenade, Hunstanton, Norfolk PE36 6GB
