What our customers are saying about our Holiday Lodges In The United Kingdom To Rent.

"A beautiful cottage, well presented and spacious upstairs and downstairs. With a gorgeous garden, the whole place was very toddler friendly. Our spaniel could escape under the gate or over the wall but luckily for us he chose not to.Easy to walk to the coastal path and to the nearest beach. Perfect location for exploring St Michael's Mount and out to Lands End. Spoilt for choice for day trips out in this stunning part of the country. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Our only negatives were the mattress in the main bedroom is a little uncomfortable, the springs now palpable. And the visitor book was quite limited in its information. But this remains the best cottage we have stayed in within the UK."

"This accommodation scored top marks in all categories. All necessary equipment (fridge, cooker. pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, etc) are provided. The location could not be better for touring Norfolk and Suffolk, and local amenities. The house is situated on a very quite country lane but is less than 10 minutes drive from the A47 (but it is not affected by road/traffic noise) and a major supermarket. Another 5 minute drive takes one into Dereham town centre. The accommodation had recently been decorated, is well furnished and had a "new feel" about it. Best of all, the owners are a delightful couple and our little dog was very welcomed (he gave it 5 bones)! Excellent value for money."

"The cottage could have been delightful, but I found it cold, uninviting and lacking in style. Simple changes such as cushions in the lounge, light bulbs that don't show above the lampshades, curtains on curtain poles that don't look shabby and basically a little more "love" put into the cottage. A frying pan would have been good too! Who doesn't like a fried breakfast? The gardens however were an absolute delight. One further issue that I had was that I spoke to the "lord" of the manner on a couple of occasions and found him quite rude. The "lady" of the manner was more affable, but, for me, I won't be returning. :("

"The cottage was even better than I had imagined, with all so clean and well equipped. The deer roaming round early morning, and the three friendly sheep were invaluable extras for the children, who also enjoyed their stay. I reported a slight leak round the collar of the kitchen tap, and gave thanks for the lovely idea of leaving a Christmas tree for us! Someone had put a lot of thought into what visitors of three generations would like. Obviously I would have like it to be cheaper, but wouldn't anyone? Finally the snow - while not arranged by the owners - was "the icing on the cake"!"

"Lovely location in village and easy access to Oxford. House worked really well for 5 adults and 3 under 3s. We were concerned about 2 staircases but these were both off hallways with doors so little ones had free reign of lounge, dining room and kitchen to toddle around. They loved the outside space and the ‘Ba Bas’ in the next field. Only negatives, not enough cups, shower over bath not great and garden open to car park but these were minor and didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the house. Went to Millers Farm which the children loved, great soft play barn plus animals and more."
