We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage.
Just a few suggestions to improve things; A proper chest of drawers is badly needed in the master bedroom. We were alone so put our cases on the spare bed and lived out of them. If weâd had company this would have been an issue. The utility room was very cluttered and we struggled to get out of the back door without high chairs, mop buckets, mops and ironing board falling over! The heating was a challenge. All we wanted to do was turn it off! We donât feel the cold, especially at night, and had a constant battle with the hive which kept reverting to previous settings. The only way to turn it off properly is to turn the radiators down on the boiler and several notices say not to touch this. The large plates in the rack are too tall for the dishwasher and stop the rotary arm turning. Hence previous feedback re dirty dishes in cupboard. Hilarious arrangement with the sink tap being screwed to a block of wood! Bit of a bodge up there! So, minor niggles aside, the cottage was lovely. Bed comfy, despite comments re dogs escaping the garden, it was perfect for our Jack Russell and unless you own a gazelle, itâs not escaping! We had everything we needed, including great WiFi and Broadway is so lovely we managed to arrange a further 2 nights at the last minute, the evening before and out of working hours. Big thanks for this to the very lovely housekeeper who agreed to come and clean on a Sunday and who also left the house beautifully clean for our arrival, plus texted us to let us know it was ready earlier than expected on arrival day. Big thanks also to Millie at Manor Cottages for dealing with our request so late in the evening, at about 8.30pm the night before we were due to leave. Would we stay there again? Yes we would; it was a wonderful holiday. A great base for the area.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location, masses of traffic free dog walks from the door.
Very very muddy - the owners very kindly allowed us to use the hose in the yard to wash off our very dirty dog - she had a whale of a time running through the fields and bogs but boy did she get filthy. Very thoughtfully layed out and equipped. There was even a torch in the bedside drawer for nighttime loo visits. Lovely decor. Super comfortable bed and soft squashy pillows. We didn't find the sofa particularly comfortable, not for the two of us to sit on anyway, a little on the small side and not a high enough back for us. The heating and hot water arrangement was a bit of a pain - we had to keep switching the hot water tank on and off for baths and showers which isn't ideal but it can't be helped if you have a property that isn't on mains gas. But don't understand why it couldn't be on a timer. Fabulous bath, water stayed hot for a long time in it. Very nice, conscientious and helpful owners. A basket containing fresh bread and cake/hot cross buns along with milk and 'home-made' lemonade was a lovely and much appreciated touch. If you're staying for any length of time and wish to do any cooking, you'll need to take cooking oil, tin foil, cling film etc and oven gloves with you. Plus spare coat hangers if you wish to hang up any more than five garments. Overall it was pretty much perfect for us and our needs, including the two parking spaces, which is very rare with a property for two.

An excellent cottage, albeit it was a difficult and bitter sweet stay for us.
Very comfortable and would like to come back in warmer weather as it was quite a cold time to visit. Great garden for the dogs - big one enjoyed it off lead but my small dog needed a lead on as she finds very little gaps! Beautiful views and walks. Directions given to the property could be better because the final left turn was not noticeable from the road as it was obscured by bushes and trees. It took us ages in the dark and ice to find the place and several phone calls as the internet went down as we were trying to call for directions. Once we got through the owner was excellent and very kindly guided us in perfectly. Even a stop at the Bluebell Pub to ask directions was not successful and not all cars have the facility to key in co-ordinates. Directions from the M5 coming south would be far better to say come off at Jct 7 and either head along the B4084 and turning right onto A4104, turning left at The Poacher and bringing you in from the other side or coming along the A38 and then turning left along the A4104 and right just before The Poacher and bringing you in again from the other side. If you are coming up from the south then directions to continue up to the roundabout and turn right onto the A4104 and turning right at The Poacher would be easier than turning by The Bluebell.

We had a week booked at Manor Farm Cottage, a barn that was converted to a 2 bedroomed cottage in the 1950s.
The view from this place was just utterly amazing. For those that know me - I don't generally like being in the kitchen cooking... but I loved staring out the window and gawking at the ever changing scenery at this place! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the beds great for a fab nights sleep. Mattress right up our alley. The lounge was also nice. It did not have an open fire, but did come with an electric one giving the illusion of burning logs. WiFi was excellent and on the very few occasions where we lost signal, we mostly had 4G or 5G at 3+ bars on our mobiles.... a game changer from previous places we have stayed at. On arrival we were greeted with a home made poppyseed bread, some coconut biscuits and a pint of milk for the humans. In a dog bowl there was a few packets of treats for the furball. Lots of pamphlets detailing activities and interests in the surrounds and neighbouring counties. Also loved that they had a few basics at hand - oil, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, some dishwasher tablets and some washing machine pods. Whether you looking for a place to spend a few days exploring Worcestershire and Gloucestershire or the Malvern Hills, or if you there for work and want a home away from home.... we highly recommend this place!

We booked via Quidco yet the discount has been declined and we are having to challenge this.
Sykes rep on phone has never heard of Quidco so that wasnât very helpful. Also suggested that there was a new piece of info added to briefs about EV charging. He did not take me seriously at all. The cottage was clean but cold. Beds were very comfortable. The welcome pack was very welcoming. The main problem we had was that we had recently swapped cars for an EV and there was nowhere to plug in at the cottage. The entire week was spent looking for and sitting at charging points. I appreciate that this is an odd piece of feedback but we came equipped with lead and extension but we were still too far away from a socket. Charging over night is really the only sensible option; as a new EV owner I only realised this when we couldnât! This is in no way a criticism of the cottage and even if I had known before it would have made no difference as I had booked and paid for it before swapping the car but I think suggesting an additional category on the info from Sykes was a useful and positive reaction to the worst holiday we have ever had! To have the suggestion met with a blank response was not reassuring.
