We had questions prior to our arrival and Linda was quick to reply.

The accuracy of the listing was spot on. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. The directions were very accurate although you begin to wonder where on earth you are going until the house appears before you and you immediately know you've arrived!! The house is very well equipped. We arranged a Tesco delivery for our weeks' stay and although there was a fridge/freezer it was a bit of a tight fit to get sufficient food for 8 people in the fridge. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated. We had a few hiccups, (not the owners fault) power failure, heating loss but the owners were very proactive getting out sorted. The garden space and the brook was loved by the children(of all ages!) Comfy garden chairs would have been nice though inside storage space may be difficult. All the settees were comfy but it would have been good to have some seating that was a bit higher (we had two members of the group who had difficulty getting up). It was an amazing place. We all loved it.

This far exceeded our expectations of our stay in the Cotswolds.

Perfect size, nicely decorated and a very cosy vibe which is exactly what we were after. The sun sets right in front of the entrance where seats and a table are provided, you can see out in the garden from the snug upstairs bedroom, cook your own food in the kitchen and there's a parking space right next to the building too. We went to the friendly pub a few minutes walk away each night which sold restaurant quality food, had local ales and it's own gin menu. The minimal light pollution on the street gives an amazing view of the night sky on the walk home too, so much so we sat outside for a while once we got home on the first night! After visiting some of the nearby popular and more well known villages we were thankful just how quiet this cottage and village were and that we were away from the large crowds of people. An extra note that the hosts are very welcoming and added to the overall great experience of our trip. We hope to be returning here one day!

The location and parking was good, walkable into town and great for our commute to work that weekend. When we arrived the block’s front door was open on the latch and throughout stay others in the building would leave it this way though we always locked it. The stairs up to the block could do with repair - they were sagging and the plaster all up the wall where they were attached was all cracking and coming away. The flat was as described, bright and tidy though there was a bad smell of cigarette smoke throughout on arrival. The host had made all attempts to clear this with air freshener and by leaving all the windows open but it was a couple of days before it went - but this was replaced by a stale drain smell from the bathroom which had no window and a noisy extractor fan which seemingly never turned off. The host was very good with instructions and we will happily stay in their properties again, however this one was ultimately not for us overall.

We stayed at Town Mill as a group of 9 friends for 3 nights and had a fantastic time.

Sat nav and directions provided by the owner took us right to the property nestled in beautiful woods. It felt very private and there was plenty of room for parking for our 6 cars. Inside the property was lovely - the lounge was wonderfully cosy and great for sitting and chatting, and the dining room gave us space to eat and play games. The bedrooms were comfortable and the beds were made up as singles, as we requested (not always a given), and the bathrooms were clean and modern, which is exactly what you want. We didn't have the weather to sit outside in the garden but there was plenty of seating and a bbq ready to go. The owner was quick to respond to emails and left us to it, which is great. Owners can sometimes demand a lot of guests and, I feel, forget that you're paying customers, but the owner here seemed to just want us to enjoy our break, which is lovely. All in all, highly recommended.

Perfect cottage for two people.

We couldn't think of anything that could have made it better. Pat and Brian are lovely considerate hosts. When it was really hot and none of the seating for the cottage had any shade, Brian brought round an umbrella and camping chairs so we could sit outside comfortably. The cottage stayed cool during the hot spell and the big fridge/freezer meant we had plenty of room to keep food and drink cold. Pat's jam was lovely and the eggs from the hens were delicious. We enjoyed every moment of our stay at the cottage, including the visit from the cheeky hen, and watching the hedgehog at dusk. The village is a great location for walking and for visiting numerous nearby National Trust properties. We also had a great day out on the steam railway from Toddington. Yes, you need a car make the most of the area, but you don't need to venture far to find plenty to do.
