What our customers are saying about our Romantic Cottages In Staffordshire To Rent.

"This was a lovely clean bungalow, with everything you could need - from cleaning products to milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge! The owners were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were specious and well-equipped. There was lots of space in the back and front garden for our two children to play and ride their bikes. There is a park within a 5-minute walk and steam train rides within 30-min walk, which our 2-year-old and 4-year-old managed. The village is lovely and quiet, with shops in nearby Cheadle, including 2 supermarkets. Alton Towers is only a 10-15 min drive away and there is so much to see in Staffordshire, Derbyshire and the Peaks within 30-60min drive. We would highly recommend this place and will be recommending to our friends and family."

"Overall the cottage was just about okay. There were simple things that let it down.Positive-The cottage was in a good location for walking the manifold way up to Wetton hill and Thors cave. It was on the main road though and very noisy. It had character and the wood burner was good for warming the house up.The kitchen area was small but had good equipment. You would struggle to fit 4 people around table.Negative- overall cleanliness was really bad and comment book had many comments about this. The cushions on the sofa had lots of stains on them.Bedding was clean though.Main bed was uncomfortable and springs and electric blanket could be felt.Small tv which scratched our DVD and then wouldn't play others. The towels were too small.I wouldn't stay there again I'm afraid."

"The location of this cottage is superb for surrounding attractions, however we were underwhelmed by the accommodation provided. The bedrooms downstairs were cold with dampness and mold an issue in some rooms and then the signs warning of the hot water being very hot were an insult due to having no hot water for 3 of the 4 days staying there. On contacting the owner they turned up and said they had reset the immersion heater for the hot water and would be good within 30 mins. Unfortunately this wasnt the case and then attempts to communicate further were ignored. This is the first negative post I have had to write. The overall rating is very accurate and unfortunately I could not recommend this cottage."

"We arrived at the property and were overwhelmed with the size and cleanliness that this charming house offered. The property was large enough for 7 adults and one dog, the lounge was spacious and we quickly had the wood fire roaring away. The bedrooms were good size and the two bathrooms had a massive bathtub each which were lovely to relax in after a hard days walking and taking in the lovely scenery. We enjoyed exploring the limestone ridges and rolling hills that were right on our doorstep. The property had enough space for three cars to park and had a large barbeque which we used during a dry spell. Would highly recommend for families and couples."

"Used village lodge to stay in over valentines weekend for a get away and also as some where to stay which was in close proximity to Alton towers. It was as describe a mere 25 minute drive which itself is a beautiful drive along country roads. The Lodge itself is picturesque and very homely. The owners of it were nothing but friendly and helpful. Only downside is that although the kitchen is well equipped there is no toaster and the biggest downside is that the heating is in sync with the main house so it shuts off at night which means it gets pretty cold (that is if you're not huddled round the fire). Overall it is a lovely little getaway "
