What our customers are saying about our Half Term Cottages In Lowestoft To Rent.

"We stayed in this cottage for a week in May 2016. Overall it is comfortable and easy to spend time in, but there are a few things that could be improved. The location is good, just a short walk from a pebbly beach and a short drive from the sandy beach in Lowestoft. We were unlucky with the weather but so managed to find enough to occupy us and our two young sons without having to go more than about 45 mins drive away. Positives Clean and nicely decorated Well equipped kitchen - useful pans and utensils, plus teatowels, hand soap and washing up stuff. Comfortable beds Nice games room Nice secure garden that the boys could run around in Welcome basket with wine, crisps and sweets Nice view of the church with the sea beyond Plenty of information regarding the cottage and the activities in the area Scope for improvement The sofa in the living room needs replacing, it sags, creaks and has loose springs The toilet makes a loud noise when the cistern refills, meaning it can't really be flushed at night There were no balls or shuttlecocks go with the rackets in the games den"

"The property has lots of pluses. The living accommodation is of a good size and overlooks the communal grounds and beyond this, the sea. The two main bedrooms are also a good size (although no wardrobe in the master bedroom). The bunk bed room is fit for purpose. The property is tastefully decorated and in a good state of repair. The kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. A good sized freezer is also available. The property was also very clean throughout. In my opinion there are two downsides to the property. The first is the size of the kitchen. It is very compact and very difficult to fit more than one person in it at a time. The second downside is that the property is heated by portable electric oil heaters (and on-the-wall fan heaters in the ensuite and family bathroom). This is stated in the property details, but beware that you could be incurring electricity costs of circa fifty pounds if staying in a cold week. Overall I would recommend this property to friends, but would make them aware of potential additional costs."

"The location of the property was literally just around the corner from the beach. This meant that it was so easy for us to get our children around to the sea incredibly easily. We wanted to be close to a beach and this was ideal. The house itself was great for us and for the children. There was a highchair and a cot for the little one and a cosy bed with lots of pillows for the older one. The garden meant that even back at the house we could run around and play on the grass. The conservatory was ideal for drawing and playing games and was such a lovely suntrap in the evenings. From Pakefield we were able to walk along the prom to get to Lowestoft, but then retreat to the calm and quiet when we had had enough. I can only say positive things about the house and for the way that everything was presented. Thank you for helping allow us to have a very enjoyable and memorable holiday."

"This cottage had everything we needed for a really relaxing break. We took our dog with us and it was ideal for him too! Our welcome basket even contained some treats for him, which I thought was very thoughtful. The cottage has a really nice feel to it and is well equipped with lovely decor. Even if you aren't lucky enough to have the amazing sunny weather we had, there is a games room with darts and pool table to keep you occupied. There are also DVDs and games and puzzles if that's not enough. We really enjoyed the bright airy conservatory too, The garden was a decent size and fenced well and safe for dogs. There are several dog friendly pubs in the village. We especially liked "The Oddfellows". Best of all a short stroll down the causeway, passed the pretty thatched church takes you to the dog friendly beach. I can definitely recommend a visit to this cottage"

"What a lovely, quaint and cozy cottage. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you could ask for which included wi-fi, full package tv, dish washer, washing machine, tumbler dryer etc. Wi-fi was especially handy as mobile reception is not great in that location. Cottage is located in a little dead end lane with open fields at the end which was great to give our dogs their after breakfast run. There is not much to do in the village ( there is a pub just yards away), but it is very central to explore local locations eg Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth, Southwold, Oulton Broad etc. There is on site parking but it is sometimes difficult to get in or out of the drive due to inconsiderate parking opposite the cottage. Next door's dog unfortunately had a barking issue which did get a bit irritating after a while. Would definately recommend a stay here and would come back again"
