About this property

This charming old fisherman's cottage is the perfect bolt hole for a well deserved holiday.  Located in a quiet, coastal residential area, close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border it is just 350 metres from Pakefield beach and all of its amenities. With breezy coastal walks and the network of footpaths in Corton Woods (5 miles), walkers will be spoiled for choice. When you consider the abundance of bird watching opportunities, sea fishing, cycling, boat hire, windsurfing and speedboat racing, it's easy to see why this part of the coast is so popular. Discover Great Yarmouth, Norfolk's Golden Mile(14 miles), and enjoy all the traditional seaside attractions and more. Or head for Southwold (10.5 miles), with its famous painted beach huts, for peace and quiet with an artistic twist. Within 17 miles, both the rspb Minsmere and the National Trust Dunwich Heath bird reserves are must-visit destinations for bird watchers, while Norwich, with its famous cathedral, is ideal for retail therapy (25 miles).

Hang up coats and shoes as you enter this charming, character-filled and quirky house and proceed through the hallway to the cosy lounge, where you can snuggle up in front of the wood burner and watch TV or read a book after a day of exploring. The kitchen, located next to the lounge, is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare delicious meals and the ground floor is completed by the family bathroom. When it's time to sleep, climb the stairs to find two warm and comfortable bedrooms, one double and one twin room.

Outside, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the patio area, which has a table and seating for four, or enjoy some al fresco dining while soaking up the sun using the BBQ.  There is a small shed where bikes can be stored securely with the padlock.
