What our customers say about their holidays

    • Sharon - Verified booking

Annie and Toby are thoughtful and responsive to any questions.

The holiday home is nicely decorated and feels like staying with friends. Fully equipped kitchen, very quick to respond when I needed help to work the hob. Everything you need has already been provided. The only extra items we used were pizza trays and pizza cutter for pizza night, and a clothes airer. The Coast hotel was very friendly and welcoming, Saturday evening entertainment was good and busy with local people. My kids enjoyed the arcades and swimming pool facilities. Any information needed is provided in the folder available for guests. We bought a few garden items from a garden sale next to the resort across the road from the decorated post box and telephone box. The weather was very kind to us and we visited several local attractions including, Great Yarmouth, Gorleston on Sea and Lowestoft, we had fun at Pleasurewood Hills themepark and the splash park at Gorleston where you can see some Banksy artwork, nice food at The Cliff hotel. We visited Ness Point and had nice food at the Lighthouse Diner. We also had a relaxing boat trip on the Broads and a nice meal at The Wherry hotel. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful. When there was an issue with the fence it was repaired within hours. My husband and son enjoyed playing football at the park where they joined in training with some locals. There is also a car boot sale on the field on a Tuesday. We visited East Coast Cinemas when the weather dulled. The broadband works well, although we were unable to work the cd player or bedroom tvs (remote batteries) although this did not affect our stay at all. The beds and sofas are comfortable. Towels, tea towels and oven gloves are all available and the ninja airfryer was fab. We enjoyed a lovely 2 weeks holiday. Tesco delivered groceries on the day we arrived so only needed to shop for a few bits.

Just had a fabulous week in Bungalow 14!

The bungalow was perfect for my elderly parents, and having 3 bedrooms meant our daughter could also spend a few days with us and her grandparents too. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and so warm and cosy. There was everything we could possibly need there (oh apart from a corkscrew, but the local pub saved the day and lent us one till we could pick one up!) And the sea views………we really couldn’t be closer to the sea! The staff around site were all lovely and friendly. The swimming pool looks fantastic although we never got around to using it. Fantastic breakfast in Coast bar before leaving, and enjoyed a couple of eves in the bar during the week. Perfectly situated for local supermarkets if self catering. The bus stopped outside the site heading both up towards Great Yarmouth and beyond and down to Lowestoft, and was frequent and ran late into the evening. We enjoyed a lovely evening at the small retro cinema in Lowestoft, and a meal out at the White Horse pub across the road. We’ve visited some beautiful towns, and managed a couple of really lovely walks at Beccles, and a stunning walk from Southwold and around Walberswick, over the marshes and along the beach. The hosts were excellent with communication and sent a very comprehensive guide to the bungalow and the area before we arrived. We would love to return again another time, there’s so much more of the area to explore, I’m sure we will be back again. The Harrison family

Firstly, apologies for delay in sending the feedback.

We decided to book a week away to celebrate my husband's 40th and to have a mini break before the arrival of our second child. And I'm so pleased we did! My son loved the accommodation (he's 3 and very difficult to please!) saying it was better than his own house! And we agree, the property felt like a second home as soon as we walked in. It was clean, tidy, spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The welcome basket was an added bonus and went down a treat. Thank you. The weather wasn't great, even though it was July. But that didn't dampen our enjoyment. We enjoyed using the swimming pool and visiting the local beaches and other places of interest. Overall, we could not fault it. It was a nice break in a cosy property. And seeing my son so happy before returning to the usual chaos at home, was wonderful. He also slept really well, which was the icing on the cake. A fantastic few days and we would definitely, 100%, return in the future.

Bungalow 14 was clean and comfortable and equipped with all we needed for our stay.

It was listed as having sea views… indeed it does… but through a chain link fence with no access to any beach within walking distance for my youngest grandson. My hope had been for a child friendly holiday beside the sea! The small swimming pool was great for the children but access to that was limited to between 11am and 4pm so not suitable for a swim before or after a day out. Although the bungalow was “dog friendly “ there was nowhere nearby where a dog could run off lead. The cooker controls had worn off so we made an educated guess when using it… luckily it worked! I feel my comments are more regarding the property description/ geography of the area than anything the owners could change ( other than cooker controls) …. Not a fan of clubhouse bars/ Gyms/ arcades so would choose somewhere else next time!

It was a very nice little bungalow, deffo preferred it to staying in a chalet/static.

The area is nice and peaceful and all the locals (inc those on site) seem very friendly and approachable. The bungalow Is beachfront as such but it’s on top of a cliff so don’t expect to walk out the front door and walk straight onto the beach, which was disappointing at first, but not the end of the world as gorleston beach is a short car journey up the road and is nice, Yarmouth seafront only slightly further on too so wasn’t the end of the world. It’s ideally placed with tesco, co op, also and other various smaller shops within a couple of miles for a big shop. Couple of things to note: Well there’s a lot of bugs and insects encountered when sitting on the decking I’m sure the spiders can fly around here
