Location, just off the main street into town was brilliant, and it was not too far from the town centre and sea front. Plenty of shops, bars and cafes to chose from nearby. lovely conversion but there could have been a few little simple added touches just to make a stay easier, eg shelf in bathroom for toiletries instead of either on the floor under the sink or balanced on the edge of the bath. A window capable of being opened in the downstair bedroom, it was so dark and claustrophobic in there, and the lack of fresh air made it very uncomfortable to sleep for us. Considering the windows cannot be opened, which I understand with them being church windows, I would have thought that in the planning stages of the conversion, air conditioning would have been factored into the build. A shower over the bath in the downstair ensuite or preferably a small shower cubicle, and regular sized bath rather than that huge corner bath would be a bonus. The Bed in the downstair room was so high my wife who is not tall struggled to get on it, I myself at 6ft+ could sit on the edge of the bed and my feet didn't touch the floor, it was way too high and far higher than any we have ever slept on, be it at guest house/hotels or other Airbnb's. All in all a nice place for a few days away but sadly we would not return to the Nave.

Looking on line it caught my eye as a quirky place to stay in a converted chapel. The whole property in need of a Deep clean dusty and dirty not been cleaned in a long time. I spoke to the owner and his reaction was we all have different cleaning standards. There was no shower over the bath in the downstairs bathroom the fittings was there but no shower head. Had to go to top floor for a shower. Cobwebs on the key box and front door name plate and knocker, weeds outside had been sprayed and left looking dead. Food was left in freezer from either a previous guest or the owner inside the fridge residues of bits of food and dirty. Bedroom downstairs dust everywhere, long black hair on back of bedside lamp. Hoover, bucket and mop in coronary where you are supposed to hang your clothes. Kitchen bin filthy inside and out, bathroom bin rusty and no bag or bucket in it should breathing away and replaced.

The Seaside House was perfect for our family Christmas holiday.

We found the place clean, beautifully decorated for Christmas with Christmas tree and great house facilities. Thank you for the christmas welcome pack. We appreciated the gesture. The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. The floor heating was the best andrest of the house was warm to our comfort. Spacious bedrooms and giving room to relaxing and good sleep conditions. We were surprised to find the place so well equipped better than most hotels. We thank the providers for kind considerations in fully equipping this home for our comfort. Walking distance to the beach and shopping facilities. The only issue was the steep stairs and no allocated parking. However, we managed to find parking and there was parking on main road which was helpful. We recommend this place for family quality times. We will be back for Christmas again.

Great stay, we knew what to expect because stayed on this site in 1970s Getting in touch with Sykes was awful.

Just wanted to ask a simple question about bedding and because Sykes is geared to a loop the loop messaging system, just ended up taking our own quilts to be safe. Communication very very difficult. App didn't work. Stay was wonderful. There's a sign that says beach access is a mile, which is nonsense. Probably worth putting something of a note in chalet suggesting walking past 'no access' sign by 3 minutes to a lovely set of steps onto beach ( not a mile away as sign misleads ) Proximity to beach is wonderful ( about 5 minutes walk ) !!! Chalet is beautiful and well equipped would easily stay again

We rented this place for a bank holiday visit to the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, we wanted somewhere comfortable and convenient and we certainly found this in the Nave. The layout of this property is large en suite bedroom on the ground floor, on the middle floor is a tasteful and cozy lounge sympathetically renovated and comfortably furnished with a modern kitchen. On the upper floor there is another double bedroom with a shower room en suite. All in all very nice about 3 miles from the pier, fine for us. Enjoyed our stay would recommend
