What our customers are saying about our Half Term Cottages In Carmarthenshire To Rent.

"Maes Y Wawr is a lovely large property in a great location with excellent views. We were a group of 10 (4 adults, 6 children) and it was the perfect size for us with plenty of space for the children to play in. The games rooms is an excellent room (although it could do with a bit more lighting) and was well used during our stay there. Our only issues were the lack of a few things in the house, namely dishwasher tablets, more than one kitchen towel, spare toilet rolls, handwash in the bathrooms and kitchen. The buttons on the thermostat also only seemed to work if you took the battery out and put it back in again. Overall though, the house was perfect for us and we would recommend it and would consider returning again in the future."

"Not a very good review I could write unfortunately! We have found a dead mouse in the kitchen and we were terrified and we had to clean all the cutlery, pots and pans!! Very poor cleanliness in the bed rooms! Some of the radiators were not working and game room was ice cold! No TV was working two nights out of 4 we stayed!! Annoyed kids 🙁May be not a good choice during winter but during summer this place will be great (we presume but we wouldn't go there again!!). We have chosen this place to stay over Xmas but we were disappointed!! Large house and good size for few families to share! Trying hard to write something positive!"

"Fantastic location, very peaceful and the gardens surrounding the cottage we stayed in are beautiful. The owners, Pixie & John, were very friendly, especially to our 2yr old little boy - the cot & highchair they supplied for him were perfect. The furniture, decor, carpet etc could do with updating, but this didn't affect our stay at all. The carpets at least could do with a clean. Having a log fire in the front room was a real treat. We would stay again. The cottage and surrounding gardens really added to the wonderful holiday we had in Wales."

"We had an amazing holiday and loved the cottage and grounds. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and our Australian relatives enjoyed the abundance of castles. The walk down the country lanes to the pub was a treat. Look for the pathway down to the river (or follow the sound of the local children) to find a small pebble beach and a wild swimming spot. Our children loved it! The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and the cottage was very clean and well equipped. We'll be back..."

"The gardens were stunning, the owners were a delightful couple, easy going and most helpful. This was our first visit to Carmarthenshire we were very impressed with the facilities for visitors lots of information available, very clean and generally well presented properties and gardens, we felt that we had a very warm welcome everywhere we visited. We would holiday here again. "
